How do you get Karma?

I was just wondering who gives you Karma and why. I must be a good boy to get Karma so early since I see a lot of people with 0 Karma and negative Karma, though, if it has to do with you following the rules. ;D

Edit: Sorry I posted here. I thought it was The Lounge, because on another forum that I go on, there's a forum called general chat and it confused me that this forum was called "General Discussion. :'( Someone please move it. How ironic though. I talk about me being good and I just broke a rule. Oh well.

There's no way to know who gives you karma and the reason. You can guess, though.

Apparently tempest just gave me Karma by mistake. I got my answer from someone else anyway. I wondered why there was no Karma button and I found out from them that I get one after 25 posts.

Edit: Now someone took it away again.  :-\

*cough* gives PerroAZUL karma for helpin with server (along with $able :D) You are awarded with karma if people click the appaud button, your karma goes down is they press the smite button.. You will be able to do this yourself once you reached 25 posts, once you reach 25 posts the applaud and smite buttons are right underneath a persons Karma... you can't miss it :D Hope that helps you Armageddon

When I first posted a soldat moments topic, I had -7 karma. For quite a long time, I left this forums, due to issues with logging in. When I finally came back, it's been downhill, but I ignore it.
