not exactly soldat clones, because soldat is fun, and they couldn't quite emulate that well.

It came out aaaaaaaages ago on Newgrounds. I was really surprised when people slated it for being a Soldat rip-off. Although it was mainly considered a madness rip-off but that's besides the point.

Well like elehunter i have heard of gunster but not unreal flash but if you want a really good game stick with soldat ;D
But soldats clone is a hard pick...gunster is really close and mario is closer :P pong is getting so close xP

I think Abuse is actually part of Soldat's inspiration. At the very least, it's the first PC 2D action game with mouse support and lots and lots of blood.
And yeah, Abuse predates Soldat by about 5 or 6 years.

Also, Soldat + Korean MMO = Gunster. Not necessarily good (I've grown to loathe the Korean MMO system), but it looks mildly interesting.

All of a sudden all 2d shooters are "Soldat Clones", anyway, none are as good as Soldat, the flash ones are ABSOLUTE ****, don't even bother. Gunster is 200mb+
