This is a new mod that will be around the theme of futuristic energyzed weapons, Humans that are trying to safe there world are fighting back the Aliens.
The Aliens: Wraiths and Ingzak's.
The Humans: TEC (Terran Exploration Corps) -- TEC Marines.

omg I finally can see your images Bunney. Uh...gotta say that most of them kinda don't fit with the "smooth weapon" look that I though you were going for. the 3rd beamer looks good because it kinda has its own style....but to be constructive, the others look kinda lumpy. Try to make stuff more than 1 pixel wide (I use a rule of 2 pixels minimum, though if you wanna pull off the 1-pixel lines, make sure all of the guns in your mod is like that [think of FBM's mods]). Meh, you'll improve.

Most of my efforts will be diverted to my HLT mod, but I'll try to contribute whenever I get an idea. ^^

Style-wise, I think the "smooth weapon" look that Sky has going may work for us the best.

Ideas of the mod

Alpha gostek:
- High Tech Warriors! Humans, with armors. Helmet -> A helmet with a big screen colours: Screen -> Yellow or Green, helmet -> Olive or Blue
- Normal Hairs

Barvo Gostek:
- Ancients, ''monsters''
- 4 legs or 2? Vote
- Helmet -> A head with theeds, Hat -> Spikes
- Hairs, custom, strange spikes, bones and things like that

Weapons:
Vote For Configuration!
Humans: Fire rifles and some prototype plasma guns
''Ancients'' or monsters: Strange tech (Beamers)

Ok tried to take a more conventional approach ie: not alien. And heres my 1st rather average attempt at using espadon's method.

Bunney, you can remove my other guns, i'm starting over

The rest of a mod is easy to do. Sounds, can be hard to find depending on what you want, try www.fpsbanana.com (I might compile a sound pack with as many sfx i can get my hands on), gosteks, I'm not sure, i've never tried making them. Ingame gfx are really easy.

Love that rifle, Temp. Should make it a light scout rifle in the Barrett Spot and put the Ultra Beamer that I made in the Ruger spot. I just think it's not right to combine high-powered weapons with the scope, ya know? Leads to all kinds of b*tching. Now then, I think we should stick to Bunney's original idea of at least 80% or so energy weapons Sure,a few ballistic weapons, but, we'll make em snazzy.

Here, a Space Marine-esque rifle for the Humans. Its kinda plain, but theres not much to do with white. I think it looks nice..what do you guys think?

I'm afraid it's not quite in the style that we agreed on here, and would look more at home in one of those "monochrome modern weapons" sets...

Hmmm.... care to explain what is copied?

All that work is 100% original. Using ur method (by far the best). Trying to use a style similar to urs and skykandens, in order to make weapons that look like others in the mod...

Anyways...Val...erm, try this tutorial on for size, right now your gun...ah, you can boost up the contrast with PS or GIMP, but ah, yeah, Bunney'll decide.
