Author Topic: 1.4.2 Bug- Access Violation? (Read 27890 times)

I patched soldat today... its not working right...

I can log into the lobby fine, but once I enter a game, It either gives me a repeating Access Violation or it lets me play for about a minute and then gives me the repeating A-Violation.

Any words of wisdom? or is it just a patch problem?

Have you tried uninstalling and installing the whole game instead of patching it?

I got that when i first downloaded it i just checked "vid. compat." and then i accidentally set the "backbuffer count" to 1 and it worked.... i have no idea what the backbuffer count does but i dont get the violation any more so im not putting it back to 2 any time soon lol.

Vid card issues. That does nothing for me though?!
Even if I can join, it bugs when I crash.

my friend cant register because he doesnt/cant make an email so he asked me to do this for him:

FFS THERE MUST BE SOMETHING....ive tried everything people have told me to do and it just doesnt work...i grab a flag and i get it...someone else grabs a flag and i get it...i get it when i kill but not always when i kill. What other options are there besides getting a new comp and hoping for the best?

Dude, it is SO annoying when you cannot play you have no idea. I feel for the people who have this problem, it sucks bad to be sitting around waiting for bug fixes.
