Soldat 1.4.2 + Wine 0.9.43
« on: August 17, 2007, 11:45:45 am »
Is anyone else using this setup? Im getting reeeeally bad slowdowns on certain maps at certain times. FPS takes a huge nose dive when I open weapons menu and the Score list. Basically, makes the game quite unplayable. Also, hitting a certain amount of buttons at once makes soldat crash hard. No errors, just blips out. Anyway, heres the Wine output.

$ soldat
fixme:wave:ALSA_AddCaptureDevice Add support for DSCapture
fixme:d3d:IWineD3DDeviceImpl_GetAvailableTextureMem (0x1ca068) : stub, simulating 64MB for now, returning 64MB left
fixme:d3d:state_patchsegments (WINED3DRS_PATCHSEGMENTS,0.000000) not yet implemented
err:d3d_draw:blt_to_drawable Blitting surfaces from sysmem not supported yet
err:d3d_draw:blt_to_drawable Blitting surfaces from sysmem not supported yet
fixme:d3d:IWineD3DDeviceImpl_ResourceReleased Vertex buffer released while bound to a state block, stream 0
fixme:winmm:MMDRV_Exit Closing while ll-driver open

Its odd, because it was working flawlessly till 1.4.2 was installed.
Also, Fonts were totally rendered wrong, and had to use a few hacks to just get those working. My soldat is in shambles and if this were a TV or something, Id want my money back.
