INFMS Mappack 2

INFaMouS Mappack #2: "The Edge that Spilled Thine Own Blood..."

The second mappack from your fellow INFaMouS (Infiltration Mapping Squad).

The Maps:

Barren
>>>_<<<
The arid atmosphere and hot weather in this Middle Eastern town
can drive anyone crazy.  Hope you brought plenty of water.

Midba
>>>_<<<
Invade the Bravo castle, steal the black flag, and bring it to the white
flag located at the very end of an underground passage.  Multiple defense
spots and straightforward action make this Infiltration arena a chaotic experience.

Siberia
>>>_<<<
Players must fight on harsh terrain while withstanding freezing cold
temperatures and snowfall.  Can they infiltrate Bravo’s base in time
or will they be even further slowed down by Bravo’s fire?

Storage
 (AKA Warehouse2)
>>>_<<<
After the construction of the first Warehouse, the Bravos secretly built a smaller one somewhere at a different location.  While the huge warehouse serves as storage for rifles, grenades, anti-tank missiles, and other weapons, the smaller one holds crates of precious goods such as diamonds and gold plates.  When the Alphas successfully seized the big warehouse, they held captive two Bravos who refused to abandon their posts.  Alphas interrogated the Bravo prisoners and from them they learned about the smaller warehouse and its location.

The Bravos who are guarding the smaller warehouse heard an explosion yards away eleven hours after the departure of Alphas from the big warehouse.  They soon realized that Alphas were coming their way.  So they prepared for battle and called the main Bravo headquarters for reinforcements.  Alphas can choose two paths to reach the warehouse: the main passage, where Alphas run straight until they reach a curve and across a bridge, or a small tunnel with a platform above enemy territory for offensive sniping.
Can the Bravos successfully ward off their enemy, or will they fail like those who protected the big warehouse and be engulfed by Alpha forces?

A small warehouse in an open area…. Things are about to get wild.

Sexiest pack yet. All of these maps we're extremely well executed. Cheers to all of your work! Can we expect an INFaMouS #3 pack on the way? I'm loving #2, especially Midba, the shape is crazy cool and Barren has me hooked with it's simple design, but great execution. Lovely all around!

Again, cheers on a job well done! Give yourselves a pat on the back from me.

Wow finally! :D (that was fast hehe)
Good to see these got released.

inf_Barren looks a bit empty, especially because of the unique colour tone and the cubic ruins... perhaps it lacks some sceneries on those buildings. Otherwise it kind of feels like a TW map. Not my favourite there. Fortunately we don't get any more polybugs on those thin bridges. Thank you alpha transparency.

inf_Midba: I like this kind of design for an INF. Not much to say about this map. Good layout, good execution. Not a single polybug either. Not bad at all.

inf_Siberia: this map is smaller than I expected. As usual with Wraithlike's maps, it looks bigger on the overview than it actually is. xD
Love the colour theme, the snow in the background looks like ashes falling from the sky though. Again this one is more about close combat as it's so short.

inf_Storage: my favourite map in this pack. The overall design is clever, the colours are shallow and easy on the eye. MisterCharles + Teabag = the win!

All the maps have nearly perfect waypoint paths and I didn't find any polybug.
Good job everyone, another fine pack of art.
And thank you for actually finalizing and releasing these maps.
I'm still wondering what the "inf_ms_" means though.

Haha, yes.  INFMS = Infiltration Mapping Squad.  INFaMouS.

Also, "ms_" just indicates that the maps were made by INFMS.

We're already working on a third mappack.

And thanks for the comments, guys. :)

They look like a snipers/campers and paradise, but that makes it all the more fun for alpha, sometiemes. They look real good though. GJ

I miss the days when I could still map =[

This is a great release, I'll try to take another stab at making maps, although it won't be easy (unreal editor kidnapped me).
