A better idea (proposed somewhere in that thread you linked to) would be to have dead people see exactly the same as the person they're following. That way the only information they could relay would be information freely available to the remaining players, which is good enough.
players that are alive shoulnt see the dead peoples text, that would solve a lot for publics. making the enemies invisible souns like a good idea though

There's only about a 5 second period when everyone is dead and awaiting the next round and that would be the only time you could tell your teammates what to do. It's just not as good an option as what Vis suggested.
and by spectator you mean 'dead teammate',
