I just noticed that my custom title has dissapeared. Don't know about others. I don't really care (lie) but did someone decide to remove them, or did it happen otherwise?

are you talking about personal text (the message under your avatar) or custom titles (the ones that would be under your name) ?

Custom titles were turned off with the move to the new forums because we now have a proper warning system. The old forum had custom titles turned on because they were used to track the warning level of users.

No, there are no "titles". There's just a warning tracking database that only us staff members can see and use.

Oh is it really only viewable to us? Then I liked it better the old way since it was almost like a branding to warn others.

Normal members still see the green "Warned" thing under the warned user's avatar, but nothing more. (only if their warning level is over %20)

The thing about turning the custom titles back on is that everyone who had one before will have the same one now, including the hundreds of people with warning titles. We also put a stupid hack into the old forums that let only administrators/mods change the custom titles and we don't have that hack anymore... so if we enabled them anyone would be able to change their title.

Interesting. Maybe just give a sql statement to wipe every user's title clean, something like update `members` set `CustomTitle` = '' then enable them for kicks.
