Better scopes

I am a giant noob as never have played Soldat multiplayer.
First off, I am sure there has been this topic before.

Ok:

Is there a way to make the scopes on the sniper rifles better than the default zoom?

And I know this is the wrong topic, but do you have to be registered to play online?

1) Nope. Zoom is intrinsic and to modify it, you'll have to go into the game code, which is unavailable.

Most probably at the soldat.exe Notice that every patch will replace the soldat.exe .

This is something that no one is supposed to know, maybe it's all in Soldat.exe or maybe it's in those few .dll's in the Soldat folder. It doesn't matter either way since making changes to any of these files is illegal, immoral, and will get you banned from Soldat forever, since this counts as ****ing.

This is something that will definitely never happen since it will destroy gameplay for other players. Because of that and what I said above, I'm locking this.

Espadon is right, the zoom level and which guns do have scopes is hard-coded in the game (can't be modified by the end-user without breaking Soldat's TOS). In other words, it is not moddable.

jrgp... I think you should take some days off work...

in many games there are bugs that are legal, so he simply aksed for that. and somebody that knows what he's doing or somebody that would take a little time about reading. would find where the code is located.

and, I doubt eC are willing to dig into the code and recode it for modefiyable code.
