nearly everyone uses arsse for server administration, you can shutdown the server with arsse for example... in the unusual case that you had to shutdown your server just call us in #crew.sk @ quakenet or me per xfire/icq
we restart immediately, cause we support you nearly all the day/night
all changes can be made on your ftp account and after you changed something reload settings per arsse settings are updated... kinda easy 
(after addition of a new script type "/recompile" in the arsse line)

i mean what if a server rented from you keeps hanging? Would you actually go and restart it every time, or do you offer some 1337 tools for it?

2) we can make another script what restarts the server every period of time
3) we restart your server manually almost anytime

What about a some webadmin like soldatserver manager? Else how would we be able to edit the config? Shouldn't be hard to do since PHP already has a INI class/module. Starting and stopping the server should be easy too, there's a pid file at logs/soldatserver.pid, open it, read the pid, check if the process is running (use os or psapi), if so output a stop button, else if it's not or does not exist a start button.

Sorry, but that's what I would expect from a gameserver-hoster. Else I could simply RDP my vserver, upload the files and start it hu?

You know that not the CPU is the main problem?
The main problem is the PING which is required (as you can guess) to be as low as possible... even though. When I offered free Server's nobody wanted. But when they get sold cheap everyone runs. What the?...

I'd like to be able to at least read the terms in english before giving it a try. A short list of the names of servers from your costumers would be nice as well. Another small thing is that you seem to be the only host that expects a name, address and phone number, instead of the usual sufficing valid paypal account. Also it seems your site charges €0.40 per slot instead of €0.20?

But it is not.
My fault, that I didn't yet update these post. Soldat servers needed more power than expected. That's why crew.sk managment decided to charge 0.40 EUR as new monthly price per slot.

I'd like to be able to at least read the terms in english before giving it a try.

The English version of www.crew.sk is still under construction. General terms and conditions should be available in English soon, but I can just assure that this hosting isn't a fraud or sth. like that.

That has to do with confidence, crew.sk is a registered association in Slovakia and like every reliable firm we do not give away any sensitive data of our customers. Btw. phone number is not needed to be entered in the ordering form, just if you want.

Some time ago we had up to 8 different customers with 1 to 3 servers each. But it ended when crew.sk changed the main provider some weeks ago which caused IP change and so on. Unfortunately we do not have any Soldat customers yet. At the moment we just host servers for the games: Call of Duty/Counterstrike/Day of Defeat/Half-Life/Left 4 Dead/Team Fortress/Trackmania Nations and voice servers for Teamspeak/Ventrilo/Mumble as well as IRC Bouncers.
