http://soldat.pl has stopped working?
« on: April 24, 2009, 01:01:19 am »
no idea what this means. i'm running Windows Vista Ultimate. 64 bit. tried running it in compatibility mode for WinXP SP2, disabled visual themes, still did the same thing.
so, question is, why is it even putting in a URL when it's an EXE? Also, why is it even doing this? my computer is far more than enough to run Soldat, and version 1.4 worked fine aswell.

Afro Thunder: what?

Where are you getting that URL? An error message? In game text then an error message? What is the url? What is the entire message?

Really man, tell us more so we can easier give you answers.

And yeah, try running it as Admin as split mentioned.
There are other worlds than these

the whole message is exactly this. "http://soldat.pl has stopped working, Windows will check for a solution." then of course, End Program thing.

and running it as admin? yes, tried and hey, it works!

thanks spilt.

No problem. It's the first thing you should try on Vista if something doesn't start. :D

Hey guys, I have the same problem, but even if I run as admin, I don't get my settings from Config applied to it, for ex. it runs only with fullscreen no matter what I do. Any ideas?
