Oh my god, looks awesome. In graphics I would say it's perfect, I kind of not like it all being one big scenery, after playing it I'd have to say that the looks are hurting the gameplay, in some places I'm not sure where my character can stand on, where to go, I kind of get lost in the whole scenery :S

That would be the only down thing, the rest is just amazing

Once again another beautiful map by V-TT. I probably wont be able to see the background in this map if it's just one huge peice of scenery. I'm downloading it anyway, great job.

Just wondering, is the first fire that you added from Age of Empires and is the other from Quake?

but i agree with ratboy about the gameplay:(

it is very hard to seperate the polygons from the scenery....

but i guess you will get used to it after some few rounds??

No idea where are those gif's from... However i will not use any animated sceneries since i'm happy ATI graphic card/Vista 64x user and soldat bugs as hell for me.

I must agree that map layout is confusing at the first try, but it's not so hard to get used to...

That's not a map...
That's artwork.

Granted, it's artwork that you kill people in, but artwork nonetheless.

It's much more fun when you can run on something you made. So game modding is much better then just drawing something. ^^

Yes, Some good source photos (like this) + pattern brushs + some shading/colouring = nice scenery.

Probably this means that your graphic card doesn't support hi-resolution textures... (to render this map is should support at least 2048*2048 textures)
I was thinking about cutting large bg scenery to smaller pieces to let everybody play. But it makes seams look ugly and also i'll need to make ~32 sceneries instead of 2... So i gave up on it...

Yup, this is truly awesome look, but something like this just isn't suitable for soldat.
Atleast you could try to make textures and polygons more distinguishable.

You should seek for level designer's job for 3D games somewhere seriously, you got some dickhero talents for imagination and it's production.

I'd make a mod for this. My next mod was going to be a fantasy mod (spoilers...) and it will be awesome. But I could make the mod to suit this map. Maybe.
