CTF_Jungul

The layout, polygons and scenery were all done by JERICH.  He gave me the map so I can waypoint/finalize it.  It was fun working with him on this.  I honestly love the layout here, described as a mix of Voland and Ruins.
The map's already uploaded on #soldat.mapping, so hopefully we can get a playtest going soon.

Mix of voland and ruins? It's clearly a green version of Division.

Besides those 2 floating polygons on the the top left and right, I can't really say it ressembles division nor plays like it at all.

Colors remind me of Hormone. Looks test-worthy!

I don't see much of voland in it but it looks like an improvement over Ruins.

I'm not fan of 3 routed maps where isn't even one closed route, that's cos it makes hard to keep track on attacking players. I don't like such routeshifting, too much possibilities. For such map, it works good, no doubt about that (playtested it). Nicely made! Welcome back Jerich.

Decided to post some ideas to improve this map. As I said too many routes, there's nothing that gives this map so called "character". Sounds like cold but some routes are needed to set together.

Sug1: http://i50.tinypic.com/2emh4wx.png
Removed top route: You face the enemy in the center. The one who wins the battle there can decide if he like to attack top/mid/low. Flag place should be a bit higher then so that bottom route isn't too good or top route too weak.

Sug2: http://i46.tinypic.com/28jfb7a.png
Top/mid being together: More open room there, making map simplier.

I'm not saying do that or that other one. Also I'm not saying that those solutions don't have the play issues. There are other variations how you could set routes together. At the moment it's just too much perfect flow everywhere, which you should break.

This change would totally ruin ctf_Steel: http://i47.tinypic.com/2j4cygm.png it would kill Steel's "base def" character. Jungul is a bit like this solution now: 3 routes / somewhere even at some parts 4, too many.
