Devlog update (2012-10-28) minor glitch fixes but no real progress

This week at Soldat HQ we unfortunately didn't get any work done that would get us any closer to a release. I fixed some minor glitches with the idle animations and config loading, and am currently reworking the bink system to suck less and have selfbink work for semi autos. I know, nothing really exciting.

I'm disappointed though that only two guys cheered on Shoozza since last week to hurry up on coding the new auto updater. It's the final major puzzle piece to go in the next version. Don't you want a new version?! ;)

Guys, please don't disregard my post in the other thread. I'm more than willing to pay real money to have you guys delivered whatever drink you want, be it monsters, red bulls, or some kind of vodka, as long as it's orderable online.

Sorry, I'm really just lurking about lately, but new devlog posts always make me excited. Even if not much progress was made, I still check for new posts every day and eagerly wait for the next version. You're all doing an awesome job, and 1.6.4 is already sounding awesome!

Cant wait, I visit forums few times a day to see if theres any soldat-related recent posts like loner. I worry the longer it takes the more people are going to lose hope in soldat being ever active again.

It's clearly enough to browse the forum once a day or once in two days as people do not submit too many posts. I find myself checking in less frequent so it looks like more traffic than it actually is. And it works.

No boredom over here!
