Request for improving soldat scritp database

I have a huuuuge request! Can someone download soldat script database from here:( http://forums.soldat.pl/index.php?topic=42553.0 ) and make text file with description of script for every script/folder. Also cut the numbers from the folder names, it will be easier to find a script you are looking for. Update them if possible and maybe check again if they all work?

the numbers are pretty useful in my opinion.. also there are over 100 script folders and it would be a pain to edit all of these and add some description to each of them.
If I remember right most large scripts have a readme, also most of the script names are implying what they are doing. (or read the script code)

check again if they all work?

that's not such a bad idea but it would take hours to check them all.

all scripts are from this site just copy/paste name and read original info from post.  And if you want to check if they work, download soldat server, extract it to your pc, putt all scripts in scripts folder and run server. then check if scripts are recompiled: put recompiled scripts in one folder, and scripts with error in another. Then check recompiled scripts in "live" server and test them. After you finish, put scripts that didnt work good in not-recompiled folder and start to fix them one by one.
Its so simple that even you could do it :]

maybe it's true, but for someone that is here for couple years it's twice easier... for someone who knows what is the script about, he wouldn't have to check, would just write it down, anyway it's not just for me... it would be for everyone, and I think its a good tip for future versions of soldatcenter script database...

You could try and message enesce maybe he has some sort of files still viable with identification of certain scripts.

but what I suggested should be made anyway, so I thought someone would do it and I would just wait and then start checking all those scripts... someone from devs tell me... if I would do all that, what I suggested would you upload this kind of version?

I edited a little SoldatCentral Script DataBase meaning:

- I cut off numbers from names of folders so we can find the one we are looking for, faster
- I added 2 updated scripts
- I added Full Description text file, to like 25 scripts

Full Description:
It is a procedure which makes the flag grabber die if he drops it.
I added some features like BonusCap or Runner mode which means flag grabber loses his gun when grabbed.
It can be used as a sub-mode as well

To modify the features just open the .pas file and check for

- I left inside file describing what I have done + some names of folders/scripts that do not have Full Description (not all names tho)

I didn't do all of them, because I realized that many of those scripts are like 4-7 years old plus it's better to read description on forum where you have bluish background, also many of them probably don't work with current version, I suggest to make a new SoldatCenter Script Database with only working scripts, with Full Description inside.

If there would be site like that, I could make few sections with screenshots and copy few topic from forum with more wiki style.
