This is an oldie, but I figured you guys might like to see it again.

Ctf_Mineshaft

Waypoints thanks to Sliker_Hawk.

If I remember correctly, quite a few people enjoyed this map, but the only problem they had was that there were too many different routes.  So test it out on a server with some friends, tell me what you think, and if there's enough interest and enough need for change I'll fix the map up to suit your needs.

I played this on Leo's once.  Great map and all except for a few things.

lift the flag bases higher so that the upper map part wouldn't be cut off the rest

...except for a few things.

...and those things are?

How are they cut off?

grab a flag and count how many seconds it takes to score on the routes.
fix it so that all the routes take the same amount of time (eg 20 seconds)

Don't worry about it, since this is an old map.

This map never really had the proper testing that it needed before I released it the first time so I'm interested in fixing this map up so that it can be as good as it should be.  It would benefit you to tell me what I should change so that you can enjoy this map more if you ever play on it.

As well as benefitting you for this map, I can take whatever lessons I've learned and appy it to any future maps I may create.  Be a proper critic and tell me what needs to be fixed.

Thanks for the input, but that's not something I'm interested in changing.  While it's a neat idea that may work out in other maps (Ctf_run, for instance), I want my maps to be more entertaining and need a bit more forethought.  Should you run the quicker route which always has more enemies in it and more chances to be shot at, or the slower one in which you'll probably only run into a few enemies but get stuck coming out somewhere predictable?  As opposed to running whichever way you happen to choose at the time without needing to think about the consequences.  At the very least, different routes like those are just more interesting and visually appealing.

Map is fine, I run this in my servers since... the beginning of time and never listened someone complaining. ;)
