Interface question

I'm going to start working on a new interface but i've got one question: How do I make the interface transparent? So that you can still see whats going on behind like Serial K!ller's "Counter Strike interface"?

In the upper left corner of the editor there is a box which says Alpha.
That's the transparence.

Alternatively, you could use Photoshop, and save a file with transparency, then rename it to whatever.bmp.

Save the image as a PNG file, then change the file extension into BMP.
