No. I only check certain sub-forums like Lounge and then look for new posts in topics. Sometimes I look at the 'Recent posts' below the forums.

I generally check only mapping section and lounge. So i dont need active topics page.

Hell yes - I only really started visiting the new forums when the Active Topics feature was finished/fixed. In terms of surfing the forums I couldn't live without it.

I use it, and really, it annoys me when a forum doesn't have some form of active topic (different icons on sub-forums do not count).

Only time I don't use it is when I'm looking for a specific topic that won't appear on it. Otherwise, agreed with Spyder.
