1.4.2 Bug- Access Violation?

What? That isn't true. First of all i got the error after a while and then i reinstalled the whole game and i got rid of the error. Second of all theres so many people with this problem, its not like everybody is using a crack loader. Also i don't even know what a crack loader is.

All I have running is Avast Anti-Virus, Zone Alarm and my internet monitor when playing soldat.

Aww that was messed up man. He works so fricken hard on the game. Dude sometimes just trying to fix one bug takes him 12 hours.

well if you want to know i still get the violations after un installing then like taking out the hacked reg then reinstalling soldat i still get those damn violations when i press T / or F1.....

I got mine to work, try this peeps. DL soldat directly to your desktop and try to play. Mine was solved with that, and an updated video driver was what solved my display driver crashing problem.

Alls i did was keep redownloading from scratch...if your not cheating then something will work...maybe not the first or second time but eventually it will work...if you were using a crack then do what havik did lol.

Yes, please stop whining about it! Most people have the same problem as you guys do, so stop screaming in the forums! Personally, I continually get system violations, and it temporarily fixes by re-installing it constantly.. so it is getting annoying....

^ that didnt help? when i dl'd it to my desktop and played I didnt get the error when i joined servers. now i get it RARELY when i kill certain people.

i don't use any cracks or hacks and it works but when i pressing f1 to check score this appears on screen..."access...bla bla bla 000000" etc

i remember this happened when i first started playing soldat at 1.3.1.  i somehow fixed it by playing regular (non multiplayer) games, then it just stopped.  then it happened once with my 1.4, but not 1.4.1.  i fixed that one by a restart of pc.  now, i think it has to do with where u install it.  i currently have it installed in my folder for all my small games/emulators.  but 1.4.1 was installed in the programs folder of the pc. 

could someone try installing it in different directories to see if it works, i cant because i have to jump thru hoops just to get it to fully install (pc security, firewalls, virus scanners, etc.).
