M16+M4 Pack

This is a collection of 14 weapons (7 M16s, 7 M4s) that I made a while ago, and decided to package up. Basically, they're M16/M4s with various accessories for each, like tactical handles, Reflex scopes, x4 scopes, flashlights, drum mags, and G. launchers.




Hope you enjoy. All files are free to modify all you want. My permission is not required.

Uhm, would be great to unzoom them.
They are great, but you should work on stock shapes and handles.
And I think that the mag that you putted, 'SAW' it's a normal MG clip, i didn't knew the name, but if you say so. Lol

Ingame shapes could be better, and I see lack of shadding on m203 gl and the support platform (I mean the opne that replaces the rails)

Good luck on updating it if you are doing...

Thanks, yeah I'll update them later today...

As for the zoomed pic, sometimes uploading images can get a little screwy for me, so I just made it big.

The SAW variant has one of those drum mags you sometimes see.. I can improve that a little too. SAW is a Squad Automatic Weapon, and I needed a short title name to identify that variant.

What exactly is wrong with the handles/stocks? Shading, size, design?

Ironically, I find it easier to make the interface gfx than the ingame gfx for the weapons... Not enough space.

Oh the handles i think that they are so thin, and stocks are so cube-ish, it's my opinion but you could make some pixels with another dark colour (not black) on the stock to make the effect that they are not that cube-ish, if you need any examples I'll post them.
And don't care about the shading, it's great

One tip about how to make in-games look good: make them darker than they would normally be.

Yeah, probably darkest pixels is 2,2,2 or so and work up from there. 128,128,128 [the default medium gray] is wayyyy to bright for ingames and the neutral value just blends in with everything else.

I really like your work though, they seem to be done very well (including the weapons-gfx) 

Some minor tweaks - M4 stock should be pointier, mag colour is usually lighter, a slight sandy colour.  And all the handles are rather skinny.  The updated M16A2 - Handle is too diagonal, it points down more.

About the stock:



The bit at the end is a little pointier in reality

and the forum's upload is very easy to use, just click the Reply button, and click Advanced Options > Choose file (self-explanatory from there) (5MB Limit)

Just colour the mag and maybe look at the front grip a bit (it's just a tad higher than it's supposed to  be I think)

Compare to the stock; the stock joins the body pretty much at the same level as the barrel foregrip does. Either raise the stock or lower the barrel.
