What are you trying to accomplish with this? Should I come posting in the testing section every time I make crappy low colour pixel art too?
-
^Yes.

Evil-Ville, try making something with the 16-color bitmap palette.
-
There is no such thing as 16-color bitmap palette.
But here is something I made with the EGA palette a while back.

And here is a work in progress title screen picture for a game that features robots with phallic noses fighting eachother.

I believe he meant the 16 that come with paint:
255,0,0
128,0,0
255,255,0
128,128,0
0,255,0
0,128,0
0,255,255
0,128,128
0,0,255
0,0,128
255,0,255
128,0,128
0,0,0
128,128,128
192,192,192
255,255,255
Gah, I hate writing that.

How do you do gradient shading like that with paint?
Or whatever program you use...?
-
Time and care, RamboSex.

Just finished the main menu/title screen thing.

Rambo_6: I use microsoft paint but to be honest it's a bit shit, even for pixel art.
-
Do you plan on releasing that game?
-
I wouldn't have the time to do that much pixel work... :X
-
How do you do gradient shading like that with paint?...
Hold Alt, tap C, E, & D
Change the Lum value (short for "Lumination," a.k.a. shading) for every row/column/whatever of pixels you're applying a gradient to ;)
-
Keron, I think he mean the dithering.
-
Woah Ville should make a game :P
-
Keron, I think he mean the dithering.
Oh. In that case, use the one-pixel brush.
;D

Woah Ville should make a game :P
He had made hundreds of games... Sadly, most of them are Duke Nukem Forever clones.
-
Actually, they plan on releasing DNF in time for Windows Vista.
