you lose five man points if you dont
and no i do not mean who has had them but then pussied out and had the operation. i also do not mean who has them but plans on getting the girly operation
grit your slightly more numerous teeth
-
My brother got them out, looked like he was in pain for a while after.
-
I have mine. However, if I didn't have room for'em I'm pretty sure I'd have them removed. So would you, panzah.
-
I got the two in my upper jaw almost fully out and then I've got one in the lower that just teared through like two weeks ago.

probably
but its not about if buts and maybes is it
-
Well, it kinda is. You called people who've had the surgery done pussies. You're only in a position to do so, assuming you wouldn't have the surgery done yourself. Are you a puss puss?
-
I don't even know what wisdom teeth are? -5 points? ???
-
Teeth that grow in the back of your mouth. people usually get'em at around.. 18 - 20, me thinks. Some people don't have room for'em, and as such they are removed.
-
I just got an x-ray done 2 weeks ago. Looks like I'm lucky and only have one on the bottom. Going to get it removed asap, probably sometime next year. Dentist says it will cause big problems if it's left in for more than a few years.
Nothing pussy about getting them removed.
-
Got one, it's only half visible. It tends to extend periodically, like once every quarter. Hurts like son of a bitch when it does, and eating makes you want to kill yourself. I'm planning on taking it like a man and leaving it be, unless more of them pop out - after all there's not unlimited space for your teeth.
-
2 of mine were impacted while the other 2 grew out fully when I was 17. I got them really early. I actually cut my gums sometimes when I was chewing and they were very bothersome. I had all 4 removed in one day and I only experienced mild discomfort for 5 days. I've heard people exclaim about how painful and annoying the surgery was, but mine wasn't too bad. I guess those guys got the short end of the stick.
-
Mine came through about a year ago, I didn't even notice too, just a slight sting in the gums, nothing more.
-
I ain't got none of these weird things.
...ehm..never had braces either...
-
echo trail this isnt meant to be a serious discussion about how things couldve been or shouldve been or morals or whatever i am joking around and youre ruining my fun
also, idante - YES THERE IS
-
Apologies. You should add a poll.
-

i cant even remember how
or if i can change this topic into a poll hmmmmmmm
it is an mystery :| :| :| :|
-
Solved. No I'm off to bed. Saa ya tomorrow, ladies.
-
My lower two wisdom teeth are clearly visible, and I can feel what I believe to be my upper two wisdom teeth through the gumline. As far as I know, I shouldn't have any issues regarding my wisdom teeth, so I'll be keeping them. Though at the first sign of trouble, those female doges are leaving my vicinity.
Edit: Nick, mate, I see you've grown fond of Prayer of the Refugee. Cheers.
-
Never had one so far.... I heard some of them can cause extreme pain @_@
-
I had all four taken out, plus I had two bicuspids removed for orthodontic reasons.
And screw you guys, I'm still more manly than a bunch of you put together. =P
-
Had to get mine removed, not by choice. Although it did get me out of school for a little while.
-
>_> This has nothing to do with manliness, contrary to Panzer's preachings.
My girlfriend wears the pants in the relationship. Not afraid to say it. XD
-
Pssh. I had 4 teeth taken out and they weren't wisdom teeth before I had to put on braces at age 16. At age 18 I had to take all 4 of my wisdom teeth out and didn't feel any pain post surgery.
8 teeth pulled all together.

Had mine surgically extracted from (mostly) under the gums a few years back. Was pretty gnarly. I dunno if this is typical or whatever, but they gave me this plastic syringe sort of thing that I had to use daily to flush out the horrible little pits where the roots were, and if I stuck it far enough down into them, I could actually feel the end of it colliding with my jawbone. Didn't eat much that week, but got me out of school, so there you go. I took it pretty well.
-
lol Panzercat, why would you say the operation is for pussies? unless you're too pussy to have it :P
I hope I dont have to have an operation, since im really careful with my teeth. it scares me to think of having them damaged. the worst thing I can think of is having one or two knocked out like I did when I was little..
-
@Kazuki, yeah man. I always liked Prayer of the Refugee back in GH:LoR, so I bought the new album, and now I'm just totally in love with Rise Against all over again. Savior and Hero of War are such awesome songs.

Holy crap!.. You could actually feel your jawbone? That's pretty gross, man! :D This one time I was riding my bike in the woods, and I was going up a hill. All of a sudden my chain came off, causing my legs to just spin. I was standing at the time, putting all my weight and force of the muscles onto the right leg, preparing for the next stroke. So, 'cause of all this I hammered my right knee down onto the bar, which was like oval in shape, bending down. There were these little bolts on it where you could attach a bottleholder, but I hadn't got around to doing that. As a result of this, my knee was torn open, and my kneecap became visible. Man, that was so fucked up. Had to ride my bike to the doctor's, 'cause there was no one else around.
-
Yow. Tapping bone with plastic is one thing, but I'd rather avoid actually seeing my own endoskeleton if possible. :P
-
it has everything to do with manliness
contrary to kazukis obvious domination fetish
-
Aye, he does have that.

yea it's somewhat uncommon, my one wisdom tooth was misplaced to the point that they had to remove a piece of my jawbone to properly remove the tooth without damaging any nerves
-
They aren't in yet, but it's possible I won't get them because my mom didn't.
-
No one answerd yet ~_~ Are they painful if they grow in a wrong way?

2 of mine were impacted (they grow in the wrong way) and I could feel the edge of them along my bottom gum line, but they didn't hurt. If you begin to feel discomfort or pain while chewing or even moving your jaws around, then it's time to get them removed.
