I just thought of this...maybe it would be fun to have some flash bangs and/or stun grenades. Now your probably going to say that if we have as much frags than stun grenades everyone is just going to run and just throwing nades everywhere and stunning everybody and making them shitting their pants, but no. We should have a very small limit of stun's, like lets say...1 :P and it would be like power ups, where you only have some once in a while.
so what do you think

If there would be ability to make "hot-point" in the center of explosion graphic it would be easy to do by makin' mod.

sounds good i suppose. but i think it would be most at home in trenchwars, where you can buy them, that'd be sweet as.

Maybe scriptable, but all in all, too iffy to be made a major game function.

Not much use, Soldat's fast pace gameplay with jets would render it useless, if it emitted a trail of thick smoke as it flew, that blocked the view from other players (Like Realistic,) then I would F12, F12?

EnEsCe made a version of Soldat with Flashbangs, I think. I don't think it was a totally new version (I doubt it).
Its not a new suggestion, and I'd prefer the flashbangs to stay the feck away.
Besides, this falls under the adding weapons to the game, and MM won't add any new guns or shit like that to the game.
Wait till MM releases Soldat's source code and code your own version of the game with them in it.

Sure. Imho making clusters(and flamer...) at least somewhat useful would be better than adding those 'flashbangs'.

It's a good idea, been scripted already (I saw higher level players blind others on a Hexer server(or was it Hexer...))
The screen turns white for seconds. Well, think - not a bad thing to implement but imagine the whine.
I wouldn't change the usual grenade for this can of blindness.
Also, if this is "project" is serious, maybe adding this sound when you're hit by a near exploding nade - you go deaf.
That'd be neat too.

A smoke grenade that blocks some line of sight like Thinkto urself suggested might be good, but flashbangs would just get annoying.

Change M79 into a grenade launcher? (grenad, as in the green dots not yellow flare...)

I believe Curt tried to do this with his Counter-Strike script, but, since you cant get the XY of a thrown grenade, it can't be done.

you can calculate the speed& the angle of the nade right? use a formula like that to find where the nade blow might be possible.

I'm not entirely sure, I'll ask Curt about it and see what he says, but hazarding a guess I would say no.
