Edit: Ah. Because it's a video. Can't you just Frap it and host it on Youtube ? In addition to that it isn't too impressive, in fact the waving started give me enough of a headache never to want water features in Soldat. Congrats ;)
//offtopic//Do you think it would ever be possible to add particle generators (like jets) and physics particles (ones that react to gun shots, soldaten, etc, similar to bullets on a corpse) ? If you could have either of those, water is already possible and at low programming cost ;)//offtopic//

too bad soldat can't handle the phisics properties to make water realistic, it would probably end up like jello only suckier.
I "aquired" the .gif of this, if anyone would rather see that.

it's really nice, the water and sun are good and have a shance of being added but i don't really like the palmtree thing...

no offense, although I like the effect itself and stuff, this serves absolutely no purpose as to what water would be like in the actual game. For example, how would swimming/diving going to be like? The gameplay is much more important imo than the graphical effect...

Where do you see lag in that Keron? It will only need a lil bit more of CPU. There's no question of lag there. Except if you're running soldat on a p1 233 mmx. :P

If there were water though, they'd have to add splash effects which would take up more space than needed.

wouldnt it be fun to fight underwater? between the fish and all. Think of the possibilties, we could have submarines!
