Title: Tri-Edge R/S CS Server

Hello there, i wanna show you a little different servers that you mostly play.

Tri-Edge R/S CS Server
[/b] isn't a normal R/S Server, it includes best cs/de maps (mainly made by Avarax).

For those who never played R/S:

It includes 2 modes:

Realistic:

This mode is for advanced players.
- Players have low health
- Falling damage
- You see only what your player sees. If someone is behind a wall you won't see him.
- Weapons have recoil. After a shot your cursor goes up
(To prevent this you should fire single shots or short bursts).
- No special bonuses.

My comment:
- Tactic moves are really important, sometimes you have to crawl and hear to guess where the enemy can be.
- You have to be careful with shooting, it's harder to hit the target.
- There is a big difference when you're shooting, try to hit the head, not the legs.
- You have to be careful with rush, in this mode you can get killed much easier.

Survival:

There is no respawning in this mode. After a player is killed he has to wait until there is one man standing or one alive team and then the round ends and everybody respawns again.

My comment
- You rate highly your life, cause if you die, u have to wait.
- Awaiting can be sometimes annoying, but it's not so big disadvantage for players who like talking with others, thanks to that mode we know each other on these servers very well;)

For those who never played cs/de maps:

These maps are made to tactical gameplay. They are mainly in buildings, so it's fun to crawl beneath the floor, where you can here enemy walking (you can't see him!). You can hide in the bushes, boxes, behing the walls, in special dark places. There is a possiblity to regenerate you HP i special medic points (sometimes they are secret). You really feel like a commando, or something  :D

I joined the server. Saw the Server Message that said "No capping" pressed ESC, and clicked exit game

Is it so hard to play without capping? It really became a habit...

I said it's different, it's not normal CTF, so please appreciate this rule.
Hmm, i can even say it's Teammatch, but on CTF mode to set 2 teams on other sides of map. Do you need flags on Teammatch so badly...?

I'd do the same.  Nothing against the server, by the way, that's just not the way I play Capture the Flag.

Guys, don't you think that this is not little lame when you are the only guys who are rushing to get the flag and score. Anyway you'll be voted off as a runner or capper.
It's more interesting to kill all enemy's without capturing the flag using team-working skills and your knowledge.

I'm supporting enemy killers in R/S, capturing should stay in normal or realistic only servers.

I'm ok with servers which allows capping, i just made my server a little bit different. So please respect this and don't whine about it.

You know, I'm not complaining, but...

Please explain to me why capping is disallowed when the entire point of the gamemode is still labeled as Capture the Flag? This is why I tend to stay away from R/S servers, "capping", the entire point of the game, is typically disallowed or frowned upon. R/S is just a means to try strategic gameplay, but the gamemode is still Capture the Flag. You should just set the damn gamemode to Teammatch if these R/S servers use CTF maps yet say capping is not allowed. Seriously now, think about it.

If there was a possibility to make teammatch with setting teams on the opposite sides of map i would do this. But in teammatch teams are spawning with no order, on the whole map...

And i don't do the same,if capping isn't allowed the game is even MORE realistic than with capping. Could u cap in real life? NO!! can u cap in Counter Strike ?? NO!! (the bomb doesn't count)

Untrue. There are spawn points for the respective teams, your real problem would be making sure people wouldn't join Charlie or Delta.

You could make a script if anyone joins those 2 teams they automatically get forced to alpha/bravo.

Yup, no capping is nothing for me. It's still capture the flag so...And it's already said, there are maps for TM with the teams spawning like in CTF and there can be (and propabely is) a script that forces players to Alpha or Bravo.
