Title: Beyond the collider limit?
Post by: -WildBill- on June 26, 2006, 01:43:06 pm
Hey, I made my second map!
Ctf_Lost Island

Here's what it looks like so far:

I would really like to release it, but upon testing the final version I kept getting access violations, and then Soldat would just like shrivel up, turn purple, and die (not litterally, of course). Then I got to looking at it and noticed that the # of colliders on the map exceeds what PolyWorks designates as the maximum... would that have anything to do with the problem, is there even a maximum, and how can I delete some colliders/fix it so as to preserve the map?

Thanks in advance to anybody who can help!

After following your sig. link it appears that you have manually cut down the # of colliders already.

Awesome map, BTW.

Just stay below the limit and you'll be fine.

And I'd like to say that your map is freaking sweet.  Nice job.   :)

oh yeah, I forgot about this thread. yeah, I found out that you can select it with the vertext selection tool in PolyWorks and you can press Delete and it'll go away, but it doesnt show the colliders selected. it kinda just looks like the box I grag around it does nothing, but apparently it does.

thanks for the compliments too! ;D
