Title: Message saying your port
Post by: As de Espada on April 08, 2007, 11:29:36 am
When you create a server, It could be a message (like the map your playing) saying whats the port of your server, so it would be easyer to invite friends to your server.

Says right on the Join game tab... "Default: 23073".

If you have knowingly changed the default value then you should probably be able to remember it too. Or you could always look it up in the lobby list. Don't really think there's a need for this.

Man, my port changes every time I connect to the internet (yes, my soldat port) and its hard for my friends to find my server (he randomly apears in the lobby). So showing my port would help a lot.

Or there could be an in-game command that shows your port, like /port.
