Been playing it all week, forgot I was gonna post it when it came out.
So, ya! Its like free now! No Quake 3 Key needed.

This game looks like a fun FPS.
Really thrilled that it natively works on linux.
Downloading now....
YAY, works perfectly on linux (although I have to close beryl when playing.)
Fun as hell, took 2 minutes to install.

TRying it out now....is it like CS?
-
YE i just tried it, its like cs but it works on my laptop lol
the game is ok but its kinda hard to get used to, like where is the health bar lol (the only thing there is some kind of energy counter)and for some reason i suck at 3d games and always got like 1-14 ratios lol

LOOKS COOL i think i played a demo trial thing of it once and it was good.

Downloading it now, gonna try it out as soon as it is done.
It is actually fun, even though i had 100+ ping in a server in portugal (i think) I did a bit too well for a newbie to the game. Not too different from anything else i have ever seen, it is a whole lot better then Soldier Front, as there are not many problems with lag or glitches to exploit (from what I saw) the game was easy enough to kill a bunch of people if you don't mind being called a noob (maybe it was because i changed from the default to "Nue Plyr" just for laughes) There were a bit of settings to go through, there are a lot of default crosshairs to pick from, you can also pick the size (don't do anything over 20 it looks really bad) the cursor for the menus sucks, and there were times i wanted to just choose from a dropdown list instead of just clicking untill i find the one that i wanted.
If you have ever played a fps before, picture that fps, that is pretty much the same thing as Urban Terror, or maybe the other way around.

I didn't know there was a standalone thing for this. Well, I found out by flipping through Wikipedia, but I was too interested in seeing if OpenArena (http://openarena.ws/) would run it. It does. And as long as I've mentioned OpenArena, I should tell you that it will run most Quake 3 mods, including Reaction (formerly Reaction Quake 3), True Combat and Quake Rally 3.
So I guess I'll just delete the mod and replace it with the standalone. I was meaning to do that anyway. Thanks for reminding me.
EDIT: If it's "where Quake meets reality", how come there are crosshairs? I've held a Benelli M4, and no crosshair magically appeared in front of me, showing where I was aiming.

I got bored quickly...

Thank you, been wanting to buy something for Gamecube but I can save a few bucks and a few weeks with this game. It is fun, but I bet it gets boring soon - like most games.
