Hi guys i havent worked on a map since my last map, which was a while ago. I started this map while i was talking to anna in the polyworks IRC channel about a month ago, and its going ok besides the polygons that i need to make the rest of the map, besides the temples that will be on each side. They are always getting stretched when i try to make them with the "Textured Quad" command, which i think anna added to her newley found bug list.

Good to see you back, Rabble. :)
The bridge looks kinda awkward; just make it straight, since it's only for that short distance.
-
Yea the map is still in development, i think i made the bridge like that so it would make it harder for people to shoot straight through there. Making it straight would probably be better though, less confusion while in your base.
-
Got any plans for shading? Also, add some sandbags/colliders to prevent the "straight shots" instead of rising the bridge up like that.
BTW, Welcome back.

man that looks sexy... to me at least. but i am totally /not/ caught up with any of th enew map makers XD

I really like how the rocks blend to green, looks like moss. :)

This isn't a bug. Soldat doesn't actually support multitexturing, Anna just cleverly thought of the idea to stretch the textures in such a way that you only see part of it. Just work with it, okay?
Map looks pretty nice.

The map looks great so far. I love the textures.
Good luck.
-
Yah, that texture is awesome [:P]
Looking good so far, keep it up and you might have a kickarse map.
-
can i ask about something rabble? what map editor your using :D?
-
lol, youre joking, right? it says "PolyWorks" in big bold letters along the top of his screenshot ::)
but yeah, texture = *drool* :D, but shading = poo. just shade it a bit, add waypoints, and BOOM it'll be a great map indeed. ;D
