you think have soldat racism? i say in genreal, i think yes, that have some servers kick the people have in the tag some country name example: [RUS], [GER]....
what do you think come on post there!

ugh racists and biggots make me sick. all those white power nazis are a bunch of bull. The only reason young people become skinheads and **** is through propoganda spread by the old guys who grew up with the race riots and stuff. they spread propoganda through music liek heavy metal with german speaking nazi bands. Anyone who can hate another person because of race or religion makes me sick and should be banned from EVERY server in soldat. Plus why would you express such a thing on soldat? you know itll get u kicked from a server and its pretty moronic. So if u have raceist or bigot thoughts fine thats your right but dont go spaming soldat with these tags, names, and talking ****. People who do that should be ashamed of themselves. Im white and christian so im not the one being put down here but i have friends of other ethnicities and i can tell u first hand sterotypes arnt true. So those of you who feel the need to publicly express your pointless hate need to go shoot yourselves and lets hate something together like George W. Bush

And I don't know if you can come to conclusions about rasicism so fast. is there rasicism in Soldat? Probably, just like anywhere else. But how about the fact that a server might kick someone with those tags simply because of ping? Thanks to those tags, an admin will know, "Oh man, this dude is from over there, he'll lag up my server" so he gets the boot. :P

Well, there sometimes happen to play with some racists. Like guys with nicknames "gay killer" or something like that. When I kill such player in-game I always say something like "Die racist!"
So, yes, there is racism in Soldat, but it doesn't happen often. It's not a huge problem (it is problem of the whole world, of course).

I have seen my share of racists in soldat. And due to some unforeseen mutation the lord part of my name usually turns to indicate that I am a lord that prefers men. I usually just respond to such notions with either my special "Old and uncreative" taunt or say out one of my most cunning responses: "Aww you find me attractive that way" It's not really that much of a problem as long as you understand that it's their fear that they show. And that fear of difference shall haunt them trough their life.
And after all else there is the all mighty /mute, your best solution to EVERYTHING.

Ok one racist but is an insult say to one person Nazi to a GER because had a war in the past, that need to say the person if he thinks that was a good idea, 'a war is not only a calamity who goes to think that was between brothers ' that say a song, and i think there have some servers is reason to ban talk in other idiom, i play in eC servers i like that servers but i don't like that rule.

I myself haven't experienced many racist/fascist people on Soldat during my time here. Those that I do are often voted from a game as they have the habit of rubbing up people the wrong way who agree with them. People are often sadly subdued during a racists rant. They keep quiet in case he/she starts on them accusing them of being a "man who likes other men (filter)" or "Muslim".
Some people even use the skin colour (stop trying to spell check with the American word color!) I choose (which is actually an accurate representation, I'm Asian) to base their insults on, having often been called Paki and a slave (which is African, not Asian).
On the joking side, could you be racist/fascist against "noobs"? If so then AntiN00b deserves the biggest BANzooka shoved down his throat. All his taunts involve the word "noob"

Most of the racist terms aren't really said in offensive manner I have 'Shyit Nigguhs' as a taunt according to Rich Boy - Throw some D's =P
But I had this a few times that I was called a Nazi for being german, and those guys were very serious about that. This is pissing me off, just because I hate Nazis and those people think germany would still be only Nazis and such. Based on a lack of knowledge about anything, those freaks start insulting me with that shit and start votekicks. Suckers.

Oh, give it a break. People, in general, are assholes. People on the internet who play most shooting games (12-18 year olds, for example) can be really racist and offensive simply because this is the internet.
Woohoo, some white kid in Texas calls a black skinned Soldat a "nigga." Big fucking deal, there's nothing you can do about it anyway, leave the server or request they get kicked. I hate to say it, but you're not going to run into too many nice people on shooting games, much less the internet as a whole. Get over it. Someone calls you that in real life, punch their fucking face in, but on the internet, just know that the person insulting you probably has some sort of issue, and is probably more frustrated with themselves than you are with them.

Mainly the racism is just bored little kids looking to piss someone off for some amussment in their sad little lives. Same with the socalled nazis and such. Just go about your business and let them whore themselves for a laugh or two. Oddly just to through this in I knew a racist guy, he doesn't go around screaming "DEATH TO NIGGERS!" but he does not like black people, other then that he was a fun guy to hang around.

Racism is when you feel that your race is superior than others.
If you think you nation is superior to other then it's "chovinisme".
If you hate strange people then it's xenophobia.
If you love strange people then it's xenophilia.

half the people that say those things probably dont understand what they mean...how is a 12 year old kid gonna know about how much the n word infuriates a black person, for example. they hear the words and think its ok to say them, when it isnt ok at all.

What do you suggest? Mass EDUMACATION for ALL!!! Every time someone uses a racist remark be it taunt, or letting off steam etc. type in your own taunt (to save both your soldat and time) that explains exactly why what they said is wrong, hypocritical etc. Some guy did it with the old "Capper noob!" where he explained that it was the defenders fault for not killing the capper in survival games, can't remember who it was.

LtHerbert means well but he is most likely one of those that is a "Destroy evil at any cost!", this often leads to contradictions and minor errors in his theory. However Panzer's avatar does show a cat wearing the axis cross medal which does appear to show that the context is based on Nazi's (that and it's Hitler resembling mustache). However that doesn't necessarily mean that its offensive, he may be ridiculing Hitler/Nazi's or he may like them. Ok, arguing with myself is strange...I'll stop now. :-\

I don't know where to begin with the incorrectness of this post. First, you are hippocrytical in that you say racists and biggots are wrong, but you are discriminating against heavy metal. There is nothing inhearantly wrong with electric guitars with a different equality balance in the amplifiers, and some loud roaring voices, and some fast drums. Sure, if they say something racist, then yeah, it's bad, but there could just as soon be something said like that in a pop song or country-western.
Also, with a (attempted) speech so strongly about anti-racism, you shouldn't end it with a joke like "Lets hate someone together like George Bush".
And "Heil" is german for victory. Nothing bad. The Nazi parties, numbering in the thousands, would shout "sieg heil!" Which ment Hail (to) Victory. The nazi's DID say heil, but then again they probably said a whole lot of words. If PANZERCATWAGON had written Heil Hitler!, now THAT would be a problem. But get you're facts straight before you start accusing someone.
Before you flame back, I'm not supporting racism, but you're hyppocritical and incorrect views, in my opinion, are not the right way to go about expressing your distaste.

But yeah, i've definitely seen alot of racism in soldat. I used to think the internet was more or less racism free, in terms of you being able to simply log off, but I was way wrong.
In fact, there's more prejudices here than everywhere else on earth, but luckely it's now coming from single celled "groups" instead of actualy groups. Like, rasist people tend to prey in groups in the real life, but on the internet you can easely go one about it alone if you want, 'cause no one can really get to you. Luckely the effect of a one man racist army is way less than the other, so I don't pay much attention.
I think it's stupid anyhow.

Anyway, racism is everywhere. You can find it in the deepest depths of any crevice found on the internet, the planet, etc. I've learned to not care about it. So some obese kid says, "You scandinavians have ugly hair and smell like feces." my initial reaction is to laugh and then go on with whatever it is I was doing. It's a touchy subject, sure, but only if you make it a touchy subject.
I think at least 50% of the racism exhibited in Soldat is not deliberate. Hell, I'd be suprised if anyone knew spot-on a persons race, sexual preference or religious choice just by shooting at his little pixelated character in a 2d online video game.

I never got kicked from servers because of country tags, but when some people knows where I am from some kind of racism is used against me. Most part of those racists guys are german (I believe germans are less racist than 30 years ago, but keep being the most racist people at soldat). I don't know if its a historical or genetical problem...

Ok, yesterday i was playing in eC TW and one man calls himself ''nazi'' and all the time was saying ''gay'' when he dies or talking in german, he was voted but i left of the server before that i said to he:

The Swastika USED to mean power/sun/ or be a good luck charm, USA used it too, they had armbands with the swastika on it, and was used for luck (Exibit A). The coca-cola company used it, as seen in exibit B. But then the nazis completely destroyed that cool looking symbol. And now it is innapropriate to use. I wish it could come back as the "power" or "good luck" symbol it was supposed to be.

Racism over the internet makes no sense. The only time you'll actually see or hear anybody is if they have a webcam or microphone, and even then you can choose not to see them. Other than that, you'll only know where someone is from if they tell you, either in their name or by directly saying it.
The only thing it makes sense to discriminate about on the internet is playing styles on games, website interests and software preferences. That's what makes a person on the internet. What they do and like, not what they look like. Even then, you probably shouldn't do it.
On a side note, I don't care where you're from, as long as you can spell, use the shift key and express your opinions politely.

there is racism in soldat even if you dont want to believe it. im not saying that there are a s***load of white supremessists but im saying that there are people that say racial slurs such as " die jew" or "u f***ing wetback" and when i try to kik people like this its like people dont care so i say that people should get banned from servers for being racist towards other players. even in the name tags.

I kicked a guy once for being too racist. He kept vote-kicking people with sayings like, "Black", and "Negro" and "Jew" He was an idiot. Even after SIX warnings, he still did it. At the end, he said he was gonna uhh....'break things', so I kicked him.

I would like to say that there's zero tolerance throughout the Soldat gaming community, perhaps even the whole gaming community, when it comes to pointless racist remarks.
