Title: Critical decision for 1.4
Post by: FliesLikeABrick on April 24, 2007, 01:34:47 pm: This is a for a critical decision that needs to be made for 1.4. Listen to the attached wav file and vote on whether he says "slack-jawed" or "slap-jawed"

Outside research on the matter is allowed, though the focus is on what is said in the clip. Listen and vote ASAP so that we can continue work on other less-important things in 1.4.

See the first definition. I found this just as the above post was being written :(

But then, if you look at his mouth during the speech, it doesn't close at the end of the word. If you say 'slap', the p sound is formed by the closing of the mouth, while the k has the mouth open wide. Try it yourself.
