I don't remember if I told you guys this before, but I am currently involved in a project in school to launch a small satellite into orbit.
There is more about this specific event in the Desription, but long story short: went to North Dakota with my school and we watched the University put up some high-altitude baloons with test-satellites attached.
We plan to do the same one day.
