So. My last host went up in smoke.
Any suggestions for soldat server hosting.

I plan to be renting out quality USA servers within the next couple weeks. If you want to get a sample of the quality, join any of the U13 servers you see in the lobby

Yeah i'm looking for USA servers.
I remember both of you from the older forums.
So Enesece gets the first tryout as Brick's not ready yet.
The guys who play on my server will tell me pretty quick the thumbs up or down.

Last server was in texas. It was pretty balanced across the US. 60 ping typical for everyone on normal day 120 for a all hell broke loose on the internet day.
Regardless of where it is i'll give it a whirl.

its so popular because its stable, reliable and is good value, im only going by what others have said and my own experience on it.
it seems to be the most stable and the majority of NA clan servers are hosted by it as well as a lot of pubs, euros get good pings on it, best quality and value for money so in my opinion its popularity is justified

fractured owns, good servers. I much prefer them over U13 or any of the other heavily-trafficed servers around, I almost always have 16-33 ping on fracs unless I am downloading something.

Maybe for you, but i'm pretty sure everyone else in fractured community has a good ping(except euros.)
Don't give a bad reputation to servers based only on the fact that YOU have a bad ping or that you just hate the community or something.

Actually fractured is the best servers out there in my opinion... I've played on almost everyone's dedicated server and fractured does the best from me.. i too prefer a fractured server over a u13 server imo.
Also JM is right.. don't t try to give a server \a bad reputation for no reason which can be followed up. Im sure if you try the server posted by sneaky or the #Fractured CTF (pub) (12.129.179.33, port 23073) you will find that your ping is how it should be and the server admins are always on and very reliable as well as friendly.

I'd also like to reiterate on the fact that Fractured Soldat servers are high quality and have good pings, even for euros. Not sure what the hell Enesce is going on about.

I've been renting a server since the Chibmeister first opened the server hosting thread from Fractured. Since day one, my Wetdream has been great. If there were any problems, the Chibster would fix them in a giffy. My ping is always superduper, and it's very very easy to login to your account and change anything you want.
I reccommend anyone from the NA community to rent from Chibi, you'll find a place in your heart to love him, and his servers. And I'm not excluding euros, we all love you too. :)!

How the hell can you call Fractured crappy? If I can recall, all of the top NA clans use Fractured, not your ****. You get a bunch of dial-up, unskillrd idiots that use your servers, not actual skilled players.
Plus, the Network Admin. is nice, not some stuck up VB programmer. Yay for Chibi!

actually yes he sortof does respresent the Australian community, we usually get around 200 ping on american servers if we have a good connection, if we get 300+ on fractured and 200-300 on u13 and other american servers, i think fractured is not as good

So, you been on publics.. Jesus, there is like 10+ Poles and alike everytime i even visit there (i dont do publics). So everyone has ****ty pings on there. All of the guys/gals who told fracs is good, are from clanwar community, and done hardcore testing on the servers.

Now you're making baseless assumptions. Have you spoken to EVERY Soldat player from EVERY country? How does he represent the community? Ever since he's been allowed to mess around with servers, shit's been fucked up. I'll tell you right now, he doesn't represent me.

well..moo' and enesce are respected members of the soldat community who have been playig and contributing to the soldat community for years, and what they say i usually agree with. and to say that enesce working on the soldat server is bad...well, maybe you dont like it, but i like the new server versions, atleast he is making a large contributon. i get high pings on fractured ctf and i have a cable modem and live in usa. but maybe thats just bad luck. ok im done with my rant. i got nothin but love :P lol

I get 300 ping on EnEsCe's servers and 200 on Fractured. I live in Asia so I sortof respresent the whole asians community too. EnEsCe's servers are crappy. End of story.

I never said he represents you dimwit, I was talking about the Australian community since most of us that play in American servers have the same connection, and no I didnt ask everyone, but I know a lot of Australian players and the usual ping for them is around 250 in American servers, so shuve it up your ass dipsh!t

It was you took a cheap shot at fractured servers to make your own look better and the people that use and rent fractured servers are here defending it because they believe what you said was untrue and unjustified
All im worried about is finding this guy the best possible server for him and the vast majority do believe that would be a Fractured Server.
But lets let him test and decide that for himself, im sure the option of a stable top quality server with a much respected/trusted/liked owner will be more tempting than... well you.

fractured servers r high quality thats why the 99.9% of NA community use em and pay for em, even euro ppl have good ping in it, for example i live in mexico (viva mexico cabrones!!) and i got -100 ping in this servers while in the mayority of other servers i get 100 or a little more plus in selfkill server (EU side) i get +200 ping -.- and euro ppl normaly get 150-100 ping in fractured servers, so if u get 300 ping its not fractured problem!!

But, all I see are blatant opinions with almost no evidence backing it up. So, you had a bad ping experience? Aw, too bad. I guess that makes all Fractured Servers suck! Yea? No. Pings are based off connection latency. You could have an awesome connection and still have shitty ping in certain places. I don't know the details, but I've experienced shitty ping on good servers before, but I didn't label them "crappy". A good example is what Yuk posted, he had the worst ping on your server. So I guess that makes your servers suck for all Asians, based on your logic. You may have a right to an opinion, but you wield it as if it was a fact and use it to make your own servers look better without any valid evidence backing it up other than your ping sucking. If you don't like fractured, that is OK, but try and state your opinion in a way that isn't offensive to those who use the service.

Maybe it's because we care about how other people degrade perfectly good servers, and how the same people turn around and attack our community? Wow, I guess defending our friends here on soldat is a such an unprofessional and horrible thing to do.

I'm sorry, but your posts were out of line.
Anyway back to the real problem. If you're looking for a NA server, then I have had my best experiences on a fractured server. U13 is just a little too inconsistent for me, although they make great place to gather great players.
For a private clan server that will be servicing a NA community, fractured is where it's at.

as much as I don't want to step into this, I have to say that I've heard a lot of complaints about chibi's servers from many people that rent them. Though I have to admit, I've not heard anything bad in quite a while.
I like chibi, we get along really well, and I've told him this before... I'm just telling you guys now ;)

Just as a side note, I've visited neither server, and don't honestly care which one's better.

Furthermore, you guys make me wonder if I even want to rent out servers anymore. I don't want to do it if I can't criticize anything without being accused of trying to promote my business. Just the same, I don't want to do it if you guys are going to say that I'm not fit to be a moderator/admin/anything because I'll try and promote myself.
