Close to perfect, just 0.8  0.9 and 1.0 = you maked very good mod in any sense.
In some ways, when you just upgrade mod ex. 0.1 in small level, take 1 like 0.1.1 as number of changes or corretions to public version (precentage? 1-9 or next gen). When major/huge changes, this take as next generation like 0.1.5 to 0.2.
0.0 -you started from scratch, but you have nothing, 0.1 you maked small changes in one part (10%), fragment of mod, from this scheme, you still improving mod to better so you modified 50% of first skeletal scheme of mod/your work, so this is 0.1.5, but common 0.x is for betas and 1.0 is for final playable version, so you can start public as 0.1 or full release as 1.0, when you are after 0.9.4 version for beta releases or another.
Letters like a, b, c etc is number of public working version when you did improvements, but not too big for next version, generation, just partial changes, is number of releases same version like 1.0b 1.0c with some improved things but smaller than 10%

Since I think you said your SS mod was in Beta, is this the final version of your SS mod? If so, does this still retain the 40+ guns?

Well planetside and that soldatside are different.

Thats the official mod of the game, and soldatside is unofficial with extra guns, in the next version, maybe i will add all the weapons with configuration, but all the weapons of the game

All right, thanks for the clarification. I'm gonna download this because I need something to replace my aging Halo 3.5 Mod ^^

The sounds dont match the actual game, almost all of the sounds are from Unreal 1. The graphics are better, I love the sprites, they're not ripped like few other soldat mods.

The guns (I didn't play the game) are lil big ....the shading is ok, but the guns looks "boring"...I mean it like they have too much plain places...without details...for example the Heavy Scout rifle is just a simple pixel shading from the top to the bottom...and that makes the gun too simple to me.

On the other side the Cycler and the Volt Driver are nice in my opinion.

Also, some of the weapons look a bit desaturated. You can try boosting contrast in Photoshop or GIMP.

No need to do this, If you using Paint+IrfanView (http://irfanview.com/) this is almost same work as in Gimp or PS.

Yes this is "all in one" simple in using program, basicaly picture viewer, but now extended have more funtions like batch processing, html galleries, edit saturation/resize/resample/cotrast and many more. Support alpha trasparency for .pngs an have nice quality compression for .jpg, .png, just check official site:

Take some time, don't experiment on your weapons right away; go play with it a bit.

I really don't like the Mini Chaingun or the Heavy Scout Rifle. They look so blobby...they need more definition if you know what I mean. More sharpness to the shape of the gun. The Cycler looks just a bit thick. The heavy scout actually should look slimmer throughout the middle. I don't really like your lancer as it shouldn't really have that thin of a barrel to it.

Yeah I know...I'm picking on your weapons and I know you don't have to have exact accuracy but yours are just a little edgy.

Wanted to post these up as examples. All some of your weapons need is just a little tweaking, then they'll look great.

[edit]

I guess you could replace the lancer with the Decimator since it is a common pool weapon, but since it fires such a slow rocket when it initially launches, it wouldn't be quite right. I personally think that the Pheonix would be a good replacement to the Lancer but I wouldn't mind if the Lancer was kept there.
