In spectator more i would really enjoy if you could see the person you are watchings health and Ammo Count in real time. I know you can see health after they die or end of rnd but it would be better in real time and it would give more of a realistic spectator feel Like when im dead in R/S mode.
Especially during R/S Clan Wars Scrims Etc.
Pssh if I ever die. ;D

It was just something I decided making lol, not many people would sink this low, plus, it wouldn't really matter if your running low on ammo when you can just reload.

I hate how poeple whine about "spying", because when you think about it, it doesn't really matter :]

ok scratch the clan wars /scrims i want this because it would be cool to have period in public or serious matches I really think its possible
I play alot of r/s and no one spies at least in the servers im in. ds servas, seal servas, fates servas, circa,etc

As mentioned in the other thread about this matter, there's no significant way that knowing someone's health or ammo situation could help the other team. So definitely an F12 on this one.

F12 spec can be boring when your dead and its nice to know these things.
Also, you could even make it server side so all those whiners won't quit.

I'm only concerned about people spying. I support this otherwise. It'd be a nice feature to have.

Yeah, this would be very convenient.
I dont spectate much, but I could see how this could be nice.

it would also be cool if u could only spec for one team and give them team chat. so clan leaders can make players go where they want them too. but alos u would have to take way the free zoom.

I know that Soldat clients send health information to the server, but I'm not so sure they send ammo information. For example, when someone is "reloading" and shooting at the same time. I think Soldat might just send the player's "state" so if they're shooting, bullets come out of the gun until they reload, without the server knowing how many shots they have left.

This is an old topic.
Anyway, the idea is already taken into consideration. In 1.5, there will be an "advanced spectator" function for servers to enable or disable, which allows you to see the health, ammo etc of the person you're spectating.
