Title: "Solved" in NH?/RB!
Post by: DePhille on July 06, 2007, 10:30:37 am
Hi,

I was thinking of adding an option to set a topic a being "Solved" in the Need Help?/Report Bugs! section. The author and mods/admins would be able to set the status to solved.
This would put more attention to the topics that haven't been solved yet.

I support this entirely.

If this was added, the authors of topics wouldn't have to append [SOLVED] or something similar to the topic's title to indicate whether or not it was solved or not, instead there could be another column in the list of topics titled Solved? and would contain either Yes or No for each topic. This would make that section look more organized and enable people to help others faster.

Brilliant!

The original poster or a moderator could just add "SOLVED: " to the thread title.

That's also a good idea, and a lot easier.
You might want to add that in the rules or something, after a while I'm pretty sure everyone will get used to it and use it themselves.

Ey DePhille.. This is where you add solved in the topic name.

Haha, yeah :D.
Only, this isn't the Need Help?/Report Bugs! section :P.
(Darn it if a mod or admin moves this topic to that section :P).

Whenever I have a problem or solved one I'll suggest it there, and hope it'll get used more often. That would certainly encourage me to look into more of the NH?/RB!.

F12!! Great idea, and when a topic is solved put them in the last results, and the unsolved first.
