What is TeqDemo?
TeqDemo is a multilingual demo video player for Soldat.
You can record a demo in soldat by pressing on F8. Pressing it again will stop recording and saves your demo.
Then you can play the demo with Teqdemo!

Note: Due To problems with unicode it wasnt/isnt possible to add this languages:

How to use the program:
Install it. Run it.
It asks only the first time for your soldat folder. Just click on Brows and select your soldat folder(For example: C:\Soldat).
Now you can use it. Choose the demo you want to view in the list.
Then if you want to change your view from player to player while whatching, check the "Free Camera" box. If you check the "No texts" checkbox, no texts, menus or cursor will be displayed during playback.
If you check "Extract", the movie will be extracted to bmp images. those images will be stored in: Soldat\Demos\extracted.
Then click on Play. Soldat will open and the demo is playing!
Button/controll explanation:
Browse: click this button to set your soldat folder.
Free Camera: change your view from player to player while whatching
No texts no texts, menus or cursor will be displayed during playback.
Extract the movie will be extracted to bmp images. those images will be stored in: Soldat\Demos\extracted.
Language: select your language here. this will not translate your demos. only the program itself.
Close on play This will close the program when demo starts playing
Minimize on play This will minimize the program when demo starts playing
Rename Rename the selected demo.
Play: Play's the demo.
How to create a translation:
First of all install the newest TeqDemo
1. Open up TeqTaunts install folder(Default: C:\Program Files\TeqDemo).
2. Then open up the translation folder(TeqDemo\AutoPlay\Translations).
3. Copy a folder with the name of a language that you can understand the best.
Now you have for example a copy of the folder English.
4. Change the copy's name to the name of the language wherein you want to translate TeqDemo.
5 Open up the folder you just created
6. Open translation.dll with a text editor like notepad.
7. Then just translate everything.
8. Save the file and if you want to, post it here or mail it to me. it will be integrated then.

Text "Demo's" can't be modified. No matter what i do, it doesn't change.
I'd suggest you to change texts' color to white. They're unreadable on dark background.

The Unicode-Translation I made is possible to use if your operating-system is made in these languages.

yes that could be possible. i will add them as an additional download to my topic cause if your OS isnt made in these languages it will cause errors. BUT my program doesnt support unicode so i think it will keep causing errors.

oh nice job! this is much handy them the diamond demo player, but thats because i rly never watch or record demos

New version (1.2 released). BUT. the language system is slightly modified. all translations need to be translated again. my apologizes for this.

Edit1: Never mind I figured out how to make the actual translation folder. I rechecked my translations too, so it will be up tonight or tomorrow.
Edit2: Japanese doesn't work either, at least not on my computer. D= It doesn't want to read Japanese characters.

That's because it doesnt support unicode (yet). i need to learn how to implement that.

Oh...really? Well, when you do figure it out, just PM me and I'll upload a japanese translation.
P.S. I know sort of how to read/write in japanese. I'm REALLY bad at actually writing the characters, don't ask me to handwrite/speak in japanese. I can BARELY speak japanese.....(please don't ask why, cause I won't answer anyway)

Thank you But how can i make them as .bmp (Bitmap) ? i heard something about you can do like this:
1. Install TeqDemo
2. Create demo to .Bmp
3. Install bmp2avi
4. Make demo.bmp to demo.avi
5. Edit on Movie Maker
6. Send to Youtube.
