I dont know if this was a topic before but how cool would soldat be if it were 3D. To me It would be fine if it had 3D graphics but Stayed a side scroller. It would be like a movement from GTA II to GTA III .

Im not saying halo like graphics Im saying Same size Same everyting just 3D then youll have better animations. But if thats how you feel then thats how u feel.

I see what your saying, but there are a couple reasons why not many, if any people, would like this idea:
-Slower computers would suffer or not be able to play this old-comp friendly game
-Modding gosteks and other things would be much more difficult.
-A 3D side-scroller is excessive; there's no point. I felt that way when I was playing a newer Megaman game. It's just kind of pointless and ruins the pixel-ish goodness.
-Map design would take much longer; and downloads for the maps would be too.
-Probably some complete re-do of the engine and etc. would have to be done.

I see what your saying butlets just say graphics were clean Im TALKIN CLEAN, and everyone the fastest computer and internet connection. MAAAAAAAN I would never get off the computer. Cause then with 3D Graphics you would be a allowed greater customization, but it would   be (like you said)  harder to mod.

Pure bullshit. Soldat is fun because it's simple, fast and 2-D. 3D soldat is the biggest shit I have ever heard about. Go play COD if you want 3D War-shooters. Or Wolfenstein ET.
