Yes. For all my 5 years playing soldat, I've seen
only 3 girls playing soldat.
1 Side is like "Yes, girls too suckish to play soldat"
and the other side is like "Woohoo! 3 girls?! wow thats good!"
So did you seen more then 3 girls? Or never? I HAVE to know
this. Sorry about bad English :P

There are alot of girls that play Soldat. The real ones don't tell people their gender ingame though. Any that do are a) whores b) men

I've seen quite a lot of girls playing Soldat and they didn't suck at all.
However, I've seen more players faking their gender than actual girls, that's pretty sad.
I'd like to see more women play Soldat :).

The only girl from Soldat I've talked to and played with is Jess (DrivenUnder). That's not including random ones on public servers. Plus there's Anna here.
It's funny that I just have to assume that the person on Soldat Forums is male, compared to other internet communties that I'm in.
They let girls become global moderators!? Pfff, they'd be letting'em vote in national elections next.... [/mock sexism]

well my clan has a girl in itr and she is very good. we were surprised how good she was. we had a CW and we put her in it and we were like oh great its not a 4v4 its a 4v3 she aint good. but she WAS! she was great!

You're also forgetting M0ose, and I believe that 10010010 or whatever her binary name was, was a girl. Also, on the Wiki, an R/S clan leader who is amazingly skilled with a Ruger... I think her name is Icebolt or something? Or is it someone else I'm referring to?

Another reason why I distrust any girls on the internet. I know of 2 secret Myspace profiles that are guys pretending to be girls, and I've seen 3 or more instances of the same thing on past forums, Meep even being one of them.

I only gave it a few days to spread, which is not enough.
Maybe I'll run a third one, with better code so I can show results without having to calculate them myself all the time.

I'm kidding, I don't think there is anything weird about seeing a girl play soldat and do good actually. Girl was a very good player and there are many more that can hold their own with plenty of competitive male players. Hell Drivenunder is better than me and m0ose is a good player too. Lady is only good with 'dem hackz. :D

Well to defend myself I don't know of any other girls here aside from Essentle, and even more I can tell you have spent a lot more time here(1203 posts) then I have(70 posts) so I have never seen jokes like that made "over and over again". And I think it is still going because it is funny for people to assume that girls don't play soldat and can't play it as well as guys when they do. I know that at least one person this topic is about, Essentle, got a kick out of it. If you really see it as pointless lock it?

My girlfriend just started playing Soldat today with me (thanks to jrgp for providing me a zip file of 1.4.2 since I couldn't install it) and she's pretty hot. Though she's beginning to learn things, I think she'll be fairly good in the future.

With the way guys act toward girls on servers its not a surprise they pretend to be guys or just don't play. In another game last night, I played a game (not on soldat, another game) where someone claimed to be a girl, next thing you know your screen is filled with crude pictures made of text of...you know (use imagination here, I dont want to be banned lol), people inviting her to their own private game, and flat out trying to cyberscore or something. So yeah, I'm not really surprised not many girls play and if they do they say theyre guys.

Anyway, one of the members of my clan is a girl. They're not really that rare, but a large amount of teen and pre-teen idiots keep their numbers down.

Yeah I've seen like 10+- girls through all the time playing, and they were better than most of the guys actually, not the elite ones, but the ones that are mid-skilled I mean.

Why would you care whether girls play or not? Your just playing online with random people whom you can't even see. If some girls are actually playing this game then, chances are, they aren't too good looking. I mean, what kind of girls would play a game like this? I have seen girls at my school who play video games, especially action games, but most of those are social outcasts, they have few friends, no social skills, rebellious attitude, basically not something I would want to date. If you want to meet girls, good looking girls, go to the mall, or to the beach.

I played a server full of girls today... I got in second to this chick "The d3stroyer" She beat me by about 3 kills. I was most impressed that someone caught up with me in a CTF.
