I get into a game and when i hit F1, T, or / it gives me access violations any ideas on how to fix it?

Try to restart system and install a clean copy of the 1.4.2 installer.

I still get the violations i un-installed soldat and restart my comp then downloaded a new file to install and it still does it :/

I have this problem too atm fresh install dont help me,update/degrade drivers
turn on/off compatibility mode
always after clicking t,f1,/ or have select team menu
i got sweet access violation

I get that violation but it seems to happen when i kill and/or grab a flag...which is the two funnest things to do lol This is getting gay...It used to be that all ya had to do was check "vid compat" and it would work...now it doesnt.

I get it to a unending amount either when I join or when I try to chat.
I've tried a clean install so you shouldn't bother with that as it does nothing for that error.

hit team chat then back space will talk in normal talk.
Why did they have to update. I can't even play mine now! :'(

Did you delete your Soldat folder before reinstalling?

ive uninstalled, deleted folder, restarted, installed fresh to no avail.
ive even tried uninstalling, deleting folder, restarting, copying my working copy on my laptop over...also to no avail.

I'd like to report I have the same problem aswell.
Everytime I join a game ( sometimes its after I select a team) I get spammed with a ton of access violation errors.
I tried toggling video compatibility on/off, reinstalled, deleted folder, restarted PC and none of it worked : o

Same problem here.
I get spammed by errors on R/S/A servers when i spawn and on all servers when i press f1.
The only solution for now is to press and hold "enter" and after 5 secound it should work. And when you press f1 the solution is to press and hold enter and during it press f1 once again.
So I can play but it's just annoying.

I get it everytime I kill someone :[ I turned on video combalibility and I still get them.

Yes i get them even when certain people kill me....its dumb..usually if i restart soldat completely it won't be as bad or won't happen for a while...then i get them again...its rediculous

How is that I have yet to have any major problems with Soldat? I haven't gotten any error messages since 1.4. Why is it that I'm fortunate... and I wonder why you guys are having these errors, too.

How sad, I have same problem. And like others I tried everything. Well perhaps new version will come soon or some changes to this one. Anyway MM I am sure it is nice version. :)

YAH LULZ i like it i can paly DM but cant look at my score or talk but im sure its really fun when all is working properly.

i have the same prob , but it seems , that just came when i putted my profiles in profile paste , now soldat is just mad :S

i have same problem
acces violation in instruction 0053DA72
from testing - acces violation is every game frame when:
1. chat/cmd console is showed with blank prompt
2. player stats are showed (F1)
3. there is gamemode with teams
4. I have less then 10 ammo excluding respawning, specator
5. I am reloading
6. it's first frame
7. I'm using "text" interface
there's no acces violations when software mod is on but in software i have blank screen....
all is ok in 1.4.1
PIII 500MHz
GeForce4 mx440
i tried reinstall soldat many times...
i tried many combinations in config.exe and game options nothing helped
soldat is the only game i play... i hope you'll fix this problem

Not sure how many people this will affect, if any: if any of you used Shoozza's chat mod in the past, be aware that you NEED to remove it or you WILL crash.

Im in the same boat as all of you, it first just started when i pressed t or loaded a new level, i tried reinstalling, downloading a new copy, changing setting to fix this and now it just does it when i get into the game straight away so i can't even play anymore.

Well Im Have Too The Problem :S Im Press F1--- Or "T" And Say Acess Violation 000000 in adress . Soldat.exe....
And im Likee Sooo much Soldat 1.4.2 ... Im Try Evertithing .... Restart the pc , delete the folder and all .... But :( It Doesnt Work :( Because?
