Yes I may insult some but I have to say that. In the last days I am running a server with the CS script. In this script you can buy a vest, as a result you don't die so fast by bullets like in usual realistic mode. And we start, "EATER!", "HACKER!" , "why the fuck you don't die?" and other comments like these. I mean FFS people, THINK! Think where you play and what other players can do in the server.... ::)

Same thing happens in the hexer servers.... people are retarded sometimes...your right they need to just fucking THINK!

People get pissed off when something unexplainable or something that shouldn't be happening happens, like when someone has only a sliver of health left after being hit by a knife, that is fucked up. or when just about anything happens in realistic mode. and odd things done because of lag.

Soldat is actually relatively free of idiots compared to other games (like Soldier Front, for example). But yeah, people are just n00by and stupid sometimes.

Just as bad in the Fistbox server. I went in, turned on Godmode, and then tried to figure out how to get emitters to work (answer: only sometimes). Some other people went in, and apparently not noticing the giant text which appears when you join and the server messages, didn't type /help and didn't realize they could have unlimited health. So I had fun spawning turrets and killing them while they accused me of hacking.
I love Toumaz more than ever now.

While the bad experiences caused by jerks are more frequent, the good times I've had with friends and intelligent, nice people on Soldat make it worthwhile. Some clown calling you a hacker or getting you kicked may be bad, but playing a great game with cool people on a trenchwar server overshadows that.

Seconded. (My friend tried to type CS on soldier front and was censored. Then he tried Counter Strike and was censored. Soldier Front=copy of CS)
Idiots will always plague the internet, we must learn to cope with nature rather than try to force nature.

I lol'ed. Well honestly I can't compare soldat to counterstrike, soldier front or warcraft of worlds since I havent played those games/been part of thier community, but I have been part of 3 online gaming communities previously. These are Utopia, Civilization Fanatics and Smallball. Compared to those 3 communities, soldat players and are EXTREMELY retarded. Im guessing that the average IQ is basically 95 in soldat, compared to maybe 105 in those other 3. This may be due to soldat attracting alot of younger players, and it may also be due to the type of game soldat is (First person shooter). Those other 3 games I mentioned are a sports simulator and turn based strategy games whcih I think attract a more mature audience and older players.

First person shooter!!!!!111!!!!1!11!! It is a 2-D sidescroller!!!!1111!! Anyway, generally people in shooters are just more competitive and since many suck but still are competitive, they become retarded. Its not really maturity, just people thinking they are good and aren't, young and old.
