Is it just me, or the 1.4.2 version is more laggy.I never expiriance that much lag on any of previous version.For example:when i join the server everything is ok, but when i start to get close combat with several ppl it lags like hell, it annoys me.Or when the server changes to bigger map like B2b, it starts to lag.
Or is it selfkills fault?

describe that "lag". if it seems like m79 and nades register less hits, that's a new major bug of 1.4.2, not really lag.

FPS has gone down the drain big time, especially when one catches fire.

Not laggin a whole lot more here, but it is odd you started lagging right after you downloaded 1.4.2. What kind of computer/adobe reader and stuff are you running, becuase when 1.4 came out I didn't have good enough software and had to download some stuff.

I dont know what you mean what computer i am running, im useing the latest version of adobe, and when i play soldat i have programs running (xfire...) can that be a cause?

well try it with out xfire up and see...he means what is your computer running(the operating system) i think...make sure your firewall is allowing soldat to go through complety and that there isnt anything runing that takes up a lot of cpu usage or resources...
edit: i had this problem for a bit but i checked my firewall and it was going funky with soldat.

Whoa finally, thanks for that link danmer. There have been countless times where I have let down my teammates in a war due to some idiot talking to me about nothing in particular on xfire.

care to explain more? I've noticed that I can't be killed by nades anymore. Atleast in 70% of the cases. I think the nade damage should be increased and that'd solve the problem because of the "bigger" splash damage radius. I've developed my own strategy how to use my own nades to flush out opponents if they aren't going to be killed and how to use the enemys nades to boost yourself higer for a cleaner headshot.

Everyone experiences the no-reg bug so I guess that evens it up. People just continue to whine about it during cw or any other sort of match, you don't get anywhere. Just keep playing and have fun.

its laggi because some NOOBS are playing 1.3.1 in survars for 1.4.2 thats why its lagging

Soldat has become more and more resource intensive since 1.2.1... back in that version I could play 20 man games with no problem, now with the same specs I lag like hell in anything more than 5v5...
I really wish they'd put it back the way it was.. meh

Its like 1.4.2 has disallowed xfire because it used to work perfectly for me on 1.2.1.

To me its just the same thing as in the other versions.

it indeed seems to "lag" more than the previous versions.
e.g. in knife-only it now happens very often to me that i hit someone that good that i even would have hit him with a ping of 100 (i have 16 normally) and it doesnt recognize.

It only affects the FPS, however, and I'm not completely sure if it actually makes the game smoother or if it just increases the FPS in Soldat without affecting the graphics.

Ive been noticing some lag and problems with 1.4.2., although not many. I saw epople teleporting with low ping today, but I think it was just the server since no other server did that. I also notice once in a while soldat locks up for no reason at all and i need to use task manager to close it.

soldat freezes for me...i need to to the swich tab thing of F and they click on the soldat tab to be normal again

Sometimes, my soldat freezes completely, none of my programs works and I have to reset my computer completely.
