2008? You're a time traveler?
Okay, now I'll help you: Right-click the Soldat icon and go to Properties. From there, go to the Compatibility tab. At the top of the window, you'll see "Run this program in compatibility for" and a drop-down list. Select Windows XP on that list.
In that same tab, also tick the box at the bottom that says "Run this program as an Adminstrator".
It should work now. :)

You may hear this from a million other people..but for gods sake, stay away from Vista till a decent Service pack is made for it. Vista isn't for gaming, so either:
* make a new partition on your hard drive, and install XP (or 98/2000...whatever you have) and use that for gaming.
* Bite the bullet, wipe vista off completely and roll on back to XP.
* Not play soldat at all. Go out and by the Windows Vista version of Halo 2...
Sorry, but this needs to be said...

bla bla bbla...

:o DON'T DO THIS :o
I listened to a "omg intelligent" boy, too and it messed up my HDD
so do not try this at home...
...go and google (http://google.com) something in the way like that or look for Information how to make XP&Vista under one HDD.
If you try this (what I think not) back-up all files that you need on a DVD+R (RW) whatever.

I had no such problems..
The only thing that didn't work in the beginning was the due to the file permission that were set

Heyyyy! I didn't tell my mama to get a new comp with Windows Vista... she just went and did it. LOL.
Anyways, I've been having the freeze problem too. And today it stopped working altogether, but the compatability thing has worked and now Soldat actually runs again. Let's see if it still freezes...

Could anyone please give me a screenshot of this? My brother installed some chinese language pack and I can't read it anymore. He thought it was a fontpack. Thanks in advance.

It's bad because anything made in China breaks as soon as it gets in your hands.

I've been wearing these sneakers for about 5 months now and they haven't fallen apart yet... the same with our 40' LCD TV and Frigidaire Fridge. All made in China.

I got a pair of $100 (Australian dollars) sneakers that were made in China, the bottom fell off the first day I wore it and I had to walk around in my socks.

Alright, this has gotten horribly off-topic, and it's now lock time.
