Yeah whats your mouse sensitivity, people tell me high is good but others say low is good.

You know, I use high sensitivity. I'm with 20 on Call of Duty @_@
Soldat : 175%
Many people think i'm nuts.
-
I stick with good ol' midway. Always pulls through for me.
-
middle :p
whats middle? 100%?
@Mitak hmm are high sensitivity users not normal?

I never said that.
Just many people (including my friends) rofl or make @_@ when I say I use 175%.
And they usually make O_o about Call of Duty.
-
110. Wouldn't have anything else.
-
Well I guess I know a bit about the pluses and minuses about slow and high sensitivity.
With high sensitivity you have bigger chance to kill more emenies at once because you move your cursor from one to another way faster. Or if not killing more enemies, you can do a good deal of damage to a bigger range of players.
Minus - inaccuracy.
With slow sensitivity you have bigger chance to kill one or two enemies but effectively.
Minus - smaller kill ammount. (Depends on your skill though)
I think that it all depends on your skill. Some people chose their opposite - Players that usually spray at more people and kill more, may chose slow sensitivity and thus feel really slow, incapable of killing more than 2 enemies per respawn.
Others would chose the faster sensitivity and ineffectively spray around the map, making an impression that they are noobs.
But these descriptions are for really big differences in the sensitivity: Extremely Low: 25%-50% and Extremely High: 200% and over.
Depends on your skills. A good player with 75% has the same skills as one with 175%
So... For a final - it's a matter of personal taste :)
-
i got it set at 200% and like mitak people go wtf or laugh when i say that, but my mouse is kinda crappy so it makes it more around 150%, once you play with it like that you get use to it.
Edit: and like mitak just said with a high sensitivity you can adjust your aim faster, but it can also make your aim bad if you move too fast or far.
-
By the way, I use high sensitivity because my mouse is optical and if I move it around the desk too much, it gets stuck with hair and stuff and when this happens in the middle of the game I just go WTFOMGZORSFUBIOTCH. That's why when with higher sensitivity it requires less movement and I have no problems :)

...
I hear people who use high sensitivities like 100% say it helps control the recoil in Realistic mode... but I only play normal mode, so it's easier to control my aim with a Ruger or Barrett. I just tried 100% again and it felt much too fast.
-
I play with something like 70%. It just works well I guess.

I used to use 25%....but now I use 200%.

50%. I used to use 100 because I would never bother to change it. But I eventually did and it made a huge difference in sniping and using the Ruger.

Yeah these What's Your _____ topics need to die.

I use 100% - default setting
Never tried anything else

I've been playing at 10% for some time now. When I started playing soldat I started at 90% sensitivity, every 3 weeks I would go down 3. About 2 months ago I got to the point where there wasn't anything lower than 10% so I guess this is where I'm staying. If it could go lower, I'd change it because 10 is still just a bit fast for me... :s
-
how do you know what your mouse's sensitivity is?
-
I use a solid 54%.
-
28-30%
-
110-120% on my old mouse
50% on my new one

do you have to wave your arm everytime you spot someone?

You kinda get used to it after a while...
-
how do you know what your mouse's sensitivity is?
Go to options. And set it to 60 cause that's how I play.
-
30% on my wireless laser mouse. 80% on the computer mouse with bawls.
-
30%
I've had it at 30% for a long time. I did notice some improvement aiming with barret/ruger when I first lowered it, but I don't know if it's more effective with autos or not. I seem to remember being better with autos a long time ago when I had it higher, but that could be due to changes in the autos themselves or in the game. I'm too used to it now (not to mention lazy), so I'm just going to keep it as is.
-
I think higher sensitivity is better with guns like the mp5 and aug.

Yea it does take awhile, but if you take down the senstivity by 3 a week, you'd hardly notice the difference.
I played at 30% but just recently increased it to 40.
-
i use 200% infact :p
-
I use 30% sensitivity with a 1600dpi mouse.
-
200 (full) Speed to Win 8)

I don't know, to me it seems low is better for these guns. mp5 for example, it scatters everywhere but I've noticed with my low sensitivity almost all of the shots go in a straight line, like an AK.
-
150%
-
I had 100% but just a few days ago i tried out 200% and i can't switch back. 100% seems so damn slow ...
-
I have 20% sensitivity with a 1600 dpi laser mouse. Works great for Semi-autos.

200%

Lower gives you more accurate even though you use autos.
once you get used to it, you will be good with it.

Default.

Yup. I heard somewhere else on these forums yesterday. It might have been this thread I don't know (too lazy to click previous page) saying the higher the better with autos. Having low sensitivity gives me more steadiness to my HK, Steyr, and AK. Even the HK-MP5 seems to shoot the bullets in a straight line...
-
Eh all i know is that i cant aim for shit when im using my mp5 with lower sensitivity.
-
Whats the default setting because that is what mines is set to.

Thanks Cappy for telling me. But i was wondering is it hard to play on like 150-200 mouse sensitivity?
-
Try is out yourself. We all have different styles, many play with low sensitivity while others play with high.
I play with low, and i found it much easier to kill people than with high.
-
It's not hard once you get used to it. Just try it, if you like it keep it that way, if you don't try going lower little by little as time goes by.
-
hmm I changed from 90% to 120% to see how it would feel. I think it feels better
I am a auto user though, so might not have the desired effect on other weapons.
-
75% I believe. Nice and easy.
-
Mines 100%, I tried changing it to 90-110 But my aim went way off xD
-
mine is on 16%, but with a 1600dpi mouse and playing windowed 880×660 on a 17"..
I like aiming with my cursor close to my soldier :D
-
I use 123%, because 150% feels too fast, 100% feels too slow. But i think im going to try new sensitivities for a change.
-
maybe my sensitive is too low...and why i cant shoot and hit with a ruger
i think its normal..but i dont know
-
I use the default setting, already used to it >.>
-
100% Wouldn't have it any other way
-
I use ruger a lot and therefore play with 16% ;D
-
Default.
-
200% and when I lower it, it feels weird.
-
30 %, have it since forever, and 100 is too freaking fast for a game where the crosshair is not stationary
-
200
-
90% on 1000DPI
-
I have a g9 logitech mouse which I can change the dpi with a press of a button.
Theres 800, 1600 and 3200. I play with 1600 dpi.
-
150% on an optical mouse.
-
You can't really choose your sensitivity from others. It depends from the mouse.
I am using default, what is 100 %
-
50% - for being able to aim.
-
people tell me high is good but others say low is good.
It all depends on your mouse sensitivity settings on your control panel. If you have a high sensitivity in your controlpanel settings then you should use a low mouse sensitivity in Soldat and other way around simple isn't it? ;)
PS: I personally use 60% and have low mouse sensitivity in controlpanel.
-
110. It's what I've always had it as :)

No, it depends on your mouse.
If you've got gaming mouse with DPI change, the control panel settings ain't working.
If you've got crappy, cheap "office" mouse, then control panel settings matter.
-
150% optical mouse

Lower gives you more accurate even though you use autos.

120% on 800 dpi, 55% on 1600dpi
I do not agree to that. my sensitivity is relatively high and I'm an auto user. all depends on people, some are arm aimer, some uses wrists.
-
I use 60% when I am playing with the ruger, desert eagles, and barret, eveything else on 75%.
-
default
-
I use 50% with 400 DPI on my mouse.
-
i feel like a boring person now

On the fly sensityvity: On

Windows prefences 'Use mouse software settings: On'
So i dno how to put it over into %..
Razer Diamondback (1600 DPI). Love it.
