Some of you may remember my old mod, Soldat: Militias Reborn. I released it on the old forums a good while ago.
I recently found this while digging around in my old PC, so i dusted it off and made some edits.
It does not use modded ini files, it is designed to work online on any normal server.
Now for some media (sorry that it is all jumbled...)

Gostek gfx- I edited the hat graphic to be a beret, since i like berets. You can see it on the blue soldiers in my screenshot. Blue team has the option to wear a full facemask(black), whereas red team gets shades and a buzzcut, and their pants are more camouflage style.
Sfx- I used a bunch of cuts from the half-life 2 soundtrack in the list i mentioned above, and they don't fit well. I need to change them...
Interface- Nothing really special, just a little gored up. I changed a few small things like the member star, cursors andflag icons. :)
Weapon gfx- Done all by me (except for the saw)

I included a .bat file that allows you to run the mod as well.

Wow I remember this one. Very nice update. Does the mod contain even the old Aks ?

I'm sure i can dig them up.... Gimme a while and i'll have all the old files (i have to crack open my old harddrive).
EDIT: I forgot to note this, but some of the sound files suck/aren't loud enough/are too loud. Any suggestions, sound-wise would be greatly appreciated.

Very nice mod I remeber loving your first version, But didn't your old version have a weapon.ini?
Maybe as an update you can try to put one together,

It haves some bugs The fav and del fav text doesnt work,And when i press filters the waepon mod filter text doesnt work.

I have the old INI file, but it doesn't fully work (issues with modding the m79).
And i don't quite understand the bugs you have Sotija.

it's because the text file needs to be updated, there are some lines missing at the end that have been added in the new soldat versions

Yeah, but it was a random made up gun (gauss cannon or something wacky). Nothing special.. :P
EDIT: Small update. Better sound effects and some updated gosteks.

I remember that the thing I hated about this mod was all the non-weapon sfx.
Maybe I'll download it and just get rid of them. :P

Heh, i still am using the gore-tastic death sounds.
However, the music for when you capture a flag/whatever objective is all from HL2. :P

By the way, with the sound effects I didn't like removed, I am enjoying the simpler version immensely. Nice work.

Zero, i added a small package of some different voice sound effects on page 1.
I'm not sure if it's any better, the sounds are from the generic male's voice in HL2.

Yeah. It's good, but I like the old one a little better. I prefer dual magnums over Colts, since the reload sound is more badass.
Still, I'll download it.
Oh yeah, the death sounds are HARDCORE!

Just get WinAce, it allows you to deal with Zip and Rar files.
winace comes packaged with whenusave (adware)

Add all guns what you made for this mod, make some more, add config ....and it would be awesome mod, I just like your style.
But I dunno somehow I dont like the FA-MAS...could u try to fix it someway ? ::) sorry for weird suggestion but It doesnt fit to me. And the grenade launcher....could u make another too ? M79 for example. Everything else is just awesome. Good job. I love oldschool modders in here. :)
