Title: Camping, Attacking or Flag Running?
Post by: Gold on July 12, 2006, 06:48:42 am
Which do you prefer doing when playing team matches?

Attacking and flag running. I suck at camping, simply because I almost never do it. I'll defend every now and then, but I like to keep moving, rather than sit in one spot and wait.

I'm a sweeper.  I search and destroy. :P

It's a mix of camping and attacking for me. I don't usually take the flag.
I come to attack with team or defense the base while they infiltrate enemys base.

I never take the flag ever.  I generally protect the flag, shoulda voted all, meaning i stay near the flag (sometimes moving around too) and if it gets captured, chase the guy who got it. I only get the flag if the rest of my team SUCKS. I will take it back at the base and camp if someone throws it to me.

Attacking and flagrunning. I like going to the action, not waiting for it to come to me.

All. I attack when I don't have the flag, I camp when I do have the flag, and I run back with the flag all the time/I hold off enemies long enough for the ffc to get away clean. :)

I'm a defender, I rarely go after the flag. I just protect people from getting near ours, it's not like camping, more like monitering my team's area with me trusty Steyr and LAW or Knife.

Mm, I like defending as well; Though I do rush a lot.

I do whatever is appropriate at the time.

yeah, it really all depends on the situation.  though i do camping the least of all.  i also am not so into flag running as much as going bounty hunting or returning the flag.

I'm mainly a rusher, but I will adapt to the situation.

If both flags are captured, I will alternate defending and attacking.

I'll go in with my team to get the flag, etc. etc.

Yes, definatly having a mixture of the 3 is the best way to play (even a little bit of camping isnt bad :P).  It will keep the game interesting when you try out different styles of gameplay, as well as make you a more skilled player.

I'm more of a middle man, sitting in the middle and helping when needed.

I usually dont ever score unless i feel my team is not fit for it =P. But i usually just give extremely good cover fire while my ffc is running back to base. my trusty ruger or spas and soccom fend em well in defensive procedures. I would consider myself backup. And i am really good at killin the EFC. i dont know why. i guess its like a prize is over their head >:)

Attacking and flagrunning. I like going to the action, not waiting for it to come to me.

That's my take on it. Camping is boring. Holding the flag can be boring, too, if there aren't many enemy attempts to return.

All, mostly camping though. I jump out of bushes :)

i love camping, its so crazy when somebody is running towards you then you litterally close line them with the barret -- lol!

- Flag Running is quite fun, and i like defending but i dont do it often, normally only if bravo team has less players than alpha on INF

If our flag is constantly barraged with Runners I'll defend. (But not camping, just jumping around)

In every other instance I will chase the flag down until I die, and then respawn, and die again.

I really hate holding the flag during a stalemate though. (Have eachothers' flag, and everyone is after your ass).

I will usually attack, unless defence is nessesary. I do defend the flag carrier as well, but I didn't have enough choices.

Same thing Tiger, I'm a crappy flag holder, but a pretty decent runner, though I don't run much.

I'd rather camp and defend the flag runner (ok, im alone there!). I love clearing their path in and out the enemy base.

I very rarely see people camping/guarding the base, and that sucks, because it only takes 1 person to keep the base clean.

I'm more into the attacking stuff.. Allthough, as soon as we supress the enemies, and one of our guys is off with the flag, I like to fall a little back, and try standing me ground. This gives people time to respawn, and regroup pretty far in the map, before launching a new wave upon the enemy.

Doing everything makes the game most fun. I prefer most of all hoever playing the middle level and "sweeping" as someone above said.
