Title: Ubuntu and Radeon X1800XT (Fixed)
Post by: Smegma on October 14, 2007, 04:04:38 pm
Hello,

I've recently switched to linux (ubuntu feisty fawn) and am having trouble being able to install the driver for my radeon x1800xt. I've tried many walkthroughs, installing many ways, but my opengl version is always shown as Mesa.

Anyone have any thing to shed light on or point me in the right direction?

EDIT: Fixed, mod can lock/delete

Can you tell us what you did to fix it?

Retraced my steps through a walkthrough and found a few mistakes I made.

It'd be more accurate if he used "ubuntu" instead of "linux", I'd say.
