I cannot find a Normal Mode CTF without some stupid script or subgamemode. I can't even find a normal mode anything. U13 is never open, and if it does show up on the lobby there are 11 people. Why are there stupid trenchwar servers with all this buying shit and running away from "artillery strikes?" I am starting to think that this game has too many options, Weapon mods always sucked, scripts are fine if you know the server runs one, if you don't you are fucked because you don't know what the hell is going on.
Don't even think about telling me to join a clan, Clans can suck my balls; gathers too.

I almost feel the same way that you do. There are a few normal, no subgamemodes, moderate traffic North American DM servers that I frequent. I posted them in the "Player Description" thread.
However, DM is apparently not what you requested... if you wish, I could search for some regular old CTF servers in the lobby for you and post the IP/port here.

Yes, we need more normal mode CTF. Only servers I know are u13 CTF and Fracs CTF.

Too bad you don't live in Australia. We have 3 CTF servers provided by one network, and possibly a few more from others, and if that ain't enough, you can always book another one with your friends.

Game Arena FTW! Seriously, they host 2 ctf's, 1 inf, one dm all with low ping aswell :D But inf is always full.

I used to host a freeplay Ctf, but the bandwith made me stop lol... I agree with a-4-year-old on this one... More normal, less subgamemode...

Hit join once every 3 seconds = no flood ban. It's usually under a minute for someone to leave. And I'm not a loser, I just only play at LRS or Enesce TW, all other servers are full of noobs kicking you for kicking ass.

does flab or any other admin have a log of how many people are in their server at any given time? It would be interesting to see. I just was in U13, and it was almost constantly full.

Clans and gathers suck. I like my games instant and relaxed. Gathers are neither. Plus I hate IRC for numerous reasons.

How are they not relaxed? #soldat.gather is more serious (IMO) but sna is pretty layed back

Seriously, give a damned reason as to how + WHY gathers and clans suck. Because some polaks on soldat.gather are shouting KURWA MAC doesn't make gathers suck. Anyway ye seem american and sna.gather is REALLY laid back*(not layed back mozzer :D).
As to why clans suck, give us a REASON!

I hate clans because you have to spend waste time "practicing" in gathers. they are also not fun at all, especially since you can't leave without at least 3 people being really pissed off.
I hate IRC because it sucks ass at making something easy to use; see "ubuntu wiki"
I hate gathers because of all the morons who act all smug because they play gathers. They aren't even fun because only some overcompetitive asshole who needs to find refuge from "Major" plays gathers. also you aren't supposed to just quit and leave, something that someone with an actual life might actually do. Screw gathers, soups on.

Okay, instead of CLANS sucking how about CLAN-ERs sucking seriously no one wants to have t osit in a server and get "OMG NEWB MY CLAN ROXXERS JOO!!!11!1!" OR CLAN G/\YPRIDE ADVERTISNG AND LOOKING FOR MEMB3RS!!!" every fecking 3 seconds...and note how it is constantly in CAPS!!!
Seriously clans suck big fat ones, that's why i wont ever join a clan again.
I would like to see a normal Low pinging server(In Aus/pacific) that isn't full of giant penis' running around with their little penis guns yelling "I OWN3D JOO N3WB!!!!!ROLF!!!!!1!11!"
