Yeah, Soldat World Cup is over and we have a new Champion. Czech Republic are the new winners. Congrat to them, since they made a good tournament and defeated Finland in the Finals in a very tight match.
This was a World Cup in the very meaning of the word, since we had countries from all over the globe. Hopefully it went well and it was a nice Cup.

Well, looking back now it doesn't feel that bad anymore (though of course it did before) and it's kinda funny in a way. But at least we've been able to win too. :p

Match had to be played 4v4 within a couple of days, which was announced as late as after the semis. This conflicted with our key player's vacation and two new swedes had to be rushed in, which hadn't played with anyone of us earlier.

The finns had trice as many players in the team. With a deadline of 48 hours it would be impossible to have 80% of our crew online at once without time to plan ahead.

And by the way, it is only one more player. Maybe if they didn't play all matches with the same 3 players that wouldn't happen. ;p
Anyway, i think this was a good season, just like SWC1. I believe many people agree with me.

Wow, I never knew of this exsistance. I suppose I'm a noob and ought not to be posting here but, I could never play Soldat seriously... It's just the way I am. I usually don't take online computer games seriously like this. I think Worms Armageddon was the one exception for me.
Congrats to the Czechs. Was there a team from the US? I'm assuming yes, and as such, (I ought to look this up on my own time) how did they fair?

I do not imagine that the next world cup will be any time soon. SCTFL and TNL will both have to end before it'll be viable.

Grats Czech, is there a spectator video of the final match? guessing i should look it up, but if there isnt that would be pretty cool.
