This is the way i look at it....
1. You should have infinite number of rocks to throw.
2. the rock wouldnt do too much damage unless it hits you in the head.
3. Rocks should be available at any time. Theres only one rule, you cant have any guns or knives on you, you have to be completely freehanded to get rocks.
4. It would help the people that spawned without weapons somehow(happens to me all the time).
5. this would give people a chance to get some weapons.
6. i think it would make some interesting battles ;D.
7. can easely be added into the game.
I dont expect this idea to be put into the game, but it does make a good suggestion. Comment, make this idea better! :D

LOL, is this a serious thread? to me this sounds a bit odd to have in a shooting game... i dont think throwing rocks, even if it hits their heads, would do much if any damage... if you find yourself without a gun in-game, you better hurry the hell up and find another, not throw rocks...

yah you should also be able to tear off twigs off bushes and branches off trees. The branches would do more damage, obviously. But you could only get them off select trees.

I actually think this sounds interesting.
If you have no weapon, it'd be something you can do to try and prevent them from killing you. Maybe if you hit them with a rock, it could bink them a small-medium amount. And then you'd only be able to throw one, say, every couple of seconds. And the range/arc would be similar to the m79. I don't think damage would be appropriate though.
It probably won't happen anyway. Just an idea.

Personally I think it'd be quite amusing, but it doesn't have a home in Soldat. I'm sure someone can come up with a WM for a "Rocks Only" server. where a grenade is a rock and a certain gun shoots them or something (or maybe knives).
It isn't hard to simulate, but shouldn't be in the game itself.
